Education:
According to U.S News, high school teachers were ranked #1 of best education jobs. High
school teachers need at least a bachelor’s degree, and get paid a median salary of $62, 870.
Becoming a teacher has lots of steps to go through, like choosing a subject, public or private
school, and deeply depends on how well you work with the students in the grade level you plan to go
into. As stated by the site, the Upwards mobility, opportunities for advancement and salary, are
average; as well as stress levels. However, the Flexibility of the work schedule and life balance is above
average.

Public Service:
When it comes to public services, it is a huge umbrella of hundreds, if not thousands of jobs.
However, under the umbrella, I frequently look at the police or detective category.
According to U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, Police and detectives get paid a median of
$66,020 per year or $31.74 an hour as of 2021. Police and detectives often clash with each other often.
Detectives are gathering facts and evidence of a crime scene. Police do the same job, while also having
the job of protecting peoples lives. The work environment is very stressful and demanding, so it’s
definitely not of the weak or heart. To become a police officer you would need a high school diploma,
to a college degree. Then go through training in order to fully become a police officer or detective.

Law:
Lawyers are definitely the most paid jobs of the three, being paid with $127,990 a year or
$61.54 and hour. However it takes a bachelor’s degree, and then be accepted into law school. It will
take around 7 years if done correctly. On top of that, they have to pass a state’s written bar
examination. Lawyers represent and advice people in court or on trial, and it’s a very demanding job.
It’s around 40 hours a week, if not more. Depending on which state someone is studying in, they have
to learn and memorize the state laws as well as the government laws in order to get their law degree.
There are 26 types of lawyers, for example a family lawyer, who take care of domestic relations
and family issues. There is also a business lawyer, who confirms with a business so they stay in the
framework of local state laws and government laws. Or a prosecutor, who brings evidence to court
against an individual who is being sentenced to some sort of legal punishment; rather than a defense
lawyer who is on the side of the individual and tries to keep them away from lots if any legal
punishment.
