NAME OF THE PRODUCT: JUTTI FUSION

MONTH AND YEAR OF PREPARATION –
MAY,2021
PRODUCT CODE: 64035111
QUALITY & STANDARD: As per market demand and BIS
Specification.
FAUX LEATHER -2932, VT LEATHER- IS579.
INTRODUCTION:
Jutti was originated under the Mughal Empire and Rajputs Empire.
They were popularized under the Mughal King Saleem Shah.
Rajasthan and Punjab are the hub of making Jutti. Mostly Tanned
Leather is used for making Jutti. They are Eco friendly in nature and
need high skilled artisans. Usually decorated with mirrors, shells,
paints, embroidery threads etc. Famous Places- Jodhpur, Jaipur,
Udaipur, Bhinmal, Bikaner.

MARKET POTENTIAL:
Jutti’s are so aesthetically pleasant in looks and also provide good
comfort, but doesn’t have a great market share because people do not
purchase them much frequently just like sports shoes. Now a days it’s
getting more trendy as they are decorated with mirrors, shells,
embroidery etc. There are several companies who also offers
customized jutti’s for brides, or any other purpose. In this project
report synthetic and faux leather are used for making juttis.

BASIC PRESUMPTION:
1. The production target in the profile is based on 8 hours single
shift basis for 300 days in a year.
2. Labour wages are based on prevailing rates in the city (State).
3. Rate of interest on fixed and working capital are based on RBI
interest rates.
4. The cost of machinery & equipment are based on the prevailing
rates at the time of preparation of project profile.
5. The cost of raw materials and other griendries may vary from time
to time and place to place.
BUISSNES IDEA:
Juttis are specially worn on some special festivals or traditional
occasions. It provides and completes the traditional outfit. Generally
people do not spend much on buying variety in juttis because they
know that they won’t be able to wear them on daily basis just like
their other pairs of shoes. Due to this reason many people only have
one pair of juttis for traditional occasions. After seeing this problem
and experiencing the same with me, An idea came to my mind that
why not one pair of jutti can be used for several purpose like
according to their needs and outfits. I started researching more about
juttis and came to a conclusion that let’s make juttis with different
replaceable embellishments on it while keeping the upper of jutti
same traditional. For making it more traditional I used block printing
motifs which are famous prints of Rajasthan. With this fusion a
person can have both a basic casual jutti + a decorative heavy jutti in
only one pair.
