Why were you interested in this job role?

Answer

Since leaving in school, I’ve been interested in working in a hotel so I was interested in
this job role.

What do you think the roles and responsibilities of this job?

Answer

As a hotel receptionist, I expect responsibilities to include, helping guests check in and


out, answering the phones and helping guests with any queries or problems they have.

Do you have any experience working in hotel?

Answer

I have never worked in a hotel before but I worked as a waiter for two years at a
restaurant.

What is a concierge?

Answer

A concierge is responsible for helping guests book tours and trips.

Why do you want to work at this hotel?

Answer

As Hilton is a world renowned brand I was really interested in applying for it.

Describe a time you had to deal with an unhappy customer?

I remain calm and listen to him what he had to say.

Yes, I really like how the hotel is presented on the website.

To me, showing guest that you’re always available to help with any problem.

I’m interested in developing a career in hotel management. One day I would like to
transfer to different hotels around the world.
Conclusion
Interacting with the successful interviewees gives us a broad idea of the manner we are
expected to respond even to tricky questions during the interview.
It is our frame of mind that helps us to approach the questions during the interview in the
right manner and answer accordingly.
