Introduction

The benefits and implication of installing Windows 10 over Windows 7/8 for PFC Media

 Benefits
There’re no more updates for 7 and 8 meaning less security and makes windows 10
more safer to use.
New software is only available for windows 10 and not 7 or 8

 Implications
windows 10 will also consume more of your bandwidth then windows 7 and 8 which
could be a problem
staff might not be able to understand windows 10 but might do with 10

 Benefits
More features will be added to MS office that won’t be on openoffice as well as more
security

Openoffice has only 1 version whereas office 365 has many versions to pick from like
professional or student depending on your situation

 Implications
Office 365 costs money with it being between £7.90 and £16.60 and open office is free

Getting windows 10 will mean access to newer software that can make productivity more
efficient with better security too as its still being updated today.
