After watching the video of your preference, answer the following questions according to
what you saw on the video and your personal information.
1. Which is the tourist destination described in the video? Where is it located?

The tourist destination is Santiago de Cali, located in southwest Colombia.

2. Have you ever been there? If you have, describe your experience. If you haven’t,
would you like to visit it someday?

I have been to Cali several times and I like the city because there are many activities to
do and tourist places to visit, I like the gastronomy of the city, I like its tropical climate
and above all I love the warmth of the people.

The most remarkable experience I had was being at the Pacific-Petronio Alvarez Music
Festival, it was such an unique experience because I could feel the love for Afro-
Colombian culture and traditions in this city. There I met people from many countries of
the world who admired and enjoyed the cultural exhibitions and they felt part of them.

3. What are three of the most enjoyable things to do in that place?

Do hiking
Learn Salsa
Visit touristic places such as San Antonio, Parque del gato, Jairo Varela monument. Etc.
 4. According to what you saw on the video, what is something you didn’t like about
the place?

It is difficult to point out aspects that I do not like in the video because the tourist shows
the best tourist places and activities to do in Cali.

The most unknown food I have eaten is called Pusandado, it is a typical food from
Barbacoas-Nariño.

2. What places have you missed to visit during your trip?

When I was in Cartagena I missed to visit The San Felipe Castle

3. What are the worst things that have happened to you during your trip? Mention
two.

I was robbed when I was in Cali.

I lost my luggages on a trip to San Andres.

3. Have you ever met a new friend during a trip? How did it happen?

I have nor met a friend during a trip but I have shared with many foreigners
 5. What are the most visited places or tourist attractions in your city?

The most visited places in my city are called, Jamaica, Playa grande, Alemania,
Campamento etc.
