Collocations are phrases or expressions formed when a word is used with


another word or phrase (group of words), in a way that sounds correct to
speakers of the language. Phraseology is a manner of organizing words and
phrases into longer elements. The collocations/phraseology can be a
combination of verbs, nouns, prepositions, adverbs etc so far as they are
possible. For example, we can form collocations with words such as:
environmental (adjective), drill (verb), extract (verb), oil (noun), global
(adjective), Liquefied (adjective) etc.
