teen celebrity film, Ameila is
a bright, opinionated outsider
does everything she can think
of to get rid of her fame.

Director Caitlyn Port brings a new
light to fame, begging the audience
to see that not everyone wants the
dream of being a celebrity, be-
cause the perfect facade isn’t all it
seems.
The film is beautifully made, Port
shows the raw unedited sides
of fame whilst still capturing all
the sentimental once in a lifetime
moments. At the same time, she
allows the public to see into the
mind & life of a young artist and all
the mental problems, stress and
hate that comes with. Being in the
spotlight isn’t for the weak.
So much of the film hinges on how
exactly Amelia will deal with all
the fame & new people in her life,
its a journey she shares with the
audience.
A perfect film for all age groups,
but especially targetted towards
16-24, as it’s such a difficult time
finding who you are.

Port’s choice to keep Amelia’s full name
from the audience throughout the film is a
powerful reflection on Amelias character
and how much her privacy is important to
her. The audience never find out her last
name, the same way the ‘audience’ in the
movie never do, because she doesn’t want
them to.
Posted knows that growing up being a
teen in this day and age is already diffi-
cult, it understands the pressure, un-
certainty and life changes that comes
with. In Amelia’s case getting famous.
“I wish they never
posted that video of
me online, it’s not
fair i didn’t ask for
this!”
