Summary
Many kids in Thailand and kids all around the world are forced to quit the sport they play because they
don't have the equipment or it's to expensive to pay for. Our project is on sporting good donations to
kids in the country of Thailand. The both of us decided that we would like to donate some of our
equipment that we don't use to other kids in Thailand who are less fortunate than us. We would want
kids in Thailand who are less fortunate than us to follow their passion and having the opportunity of
playing a sport. We would be doing this for the semester for 4 months.

The problem
Many kids around the world have a passion for sports, a lot of us have the privilege to play our
sports and to have our equipment. Some others aren't so lucky though, many have to quit their
sport because it's too expensive for their families to buy equipment for them to play. A survey was
done by Projerct Play and it showed that low income kids are six times more likely to quit their
sports and their passion because of the cost of equipment. Also, some of our parents weren't as
fortunate as us because many of our parents had to quit because they couldn't afford the
equipment. We would want kids who don't have the equipment to benefit from this as we want
them to chase their dreams so they don't need to quit just because they can't afford the
equipment. There have been some charities and organizations that have done sporting good
donations to other countries and in the states, but none of them has been to Thailand specifically.
We would want to be the first people to do this because we want every kid to have the opportunity
in playing sports.

project activity
We chose to address this issue by just giving our used equipment away because we barely or
don't even use our used equipment. We shouldn't be keeping it on the side where we aren't
going to use it when other kids can have the joy in having their own equipment and havethe
joy in playing a sport without any worries about buying equipment. Out method imn sending
our goods to another country is to get in contact with the kids in need and with help with Mr.
Lay we can send the equipment to the school the kids go to. We would want to achieve
making kids want to play in Thailand, also for them to follow their passion in sports, also for
them not to quit their sport just because they don't have equipment or if it's to expensive
from where they live.
Evalutation

Dissemination
By social media, we would be communicating our work towards the public. We
would be using Instagram the most to see if others have equipment that they don't
use. We would be creating a account for our project and post stories kindly asking
for peoples donations, we would also be asking our friends to repost the story.We
would also be using other social media platforms like twitter and facebook. We
would also attempt to ask a radio station to spread the news about our project.

Budget

We will be asking for donations from other families or friends if they have any other used or new
sporting equipment that they don't use. We would also need some money for the shipping, and
also have cardboard boxes to put our equipment in.
