• Reading
The texts included in this section reflect those
students have worked with during the course.
Students read a text and answer questions based on
their overall understanding followed by more specific
comprehension questions. The text includes some of
the vocabulary and grammar from the unit.
• Vocabulary
Two exercises test students’ understanding of the two
vocabulary sets presented in the Student’s Book. This
is tested with a variety of different exercise types.
• Speaking
Pairwork and role play are used in this section to test
students’ oral ability. The focus here, along with the
vocabulary and grammar content of the unit, is the
language presented in the English You Need section
of the Student’s Book. The activities can be done
either by two students or a student and the teacher.
