Dear Sir,

I am directed to refer to your letter No.SO(MP) 9-1-G/2020, dated:10 th March,

2021 and say that Administrative Committee on Diyat, Arsh and Daman fund pleased to

approved following cases for payment against Diyat, Arsh and Daman:

2. The said approval is subject to the provision required information of the name of

victims legal heirs of victim and sentencing court.

3. You are requested to proceed further in the matter decide in the meeting held on

7.4.2021.

Subject:- Release of rs. 1,680,270/-- on account of Diyat, Arsh & Daman Fund for
Payment of Diyat to legal heirs of victim on behalf of prisoner namely
confined in the central prison Hyderabad u/s 302 PPC in FIR No. 09/2014 of
P.S. Border Farm, District Umerkot

The Administrative Committee for Diyat, Arsh and Daman Fund in its 5 th meeting
held on Wednesday, the 16th May, 2018 under the chair of Honorable Federal Minister for
Human Rights approved the grant of fund amounting to Rs. 1,680,270/- for payment of Diyat
amount to the legal heirs of victim through the concerned District and Sessions Judge Court for
ensuring release of a prisoner namely, Javed Ali S/o Ashraf Shahi; presently confined in Central
Prison Hyderabad u/s 302 PPC in FIR No. 09/2014 of P.S. Border Farm, District Umerkot. The
approval for the grant is made on the recommendations of the Provincial Sub-Committee, Sindh.
The detail of legal heirs as submitted by the Senior Superintendent, Central Prison, Hyderabad is

9260511 amounting Rs. 1680270/- in the name of District & Sessions Judge, Umerkot for
payment of Diyat amount to the legal heirs of the victim for release of convicted prisoner from
Central Prison, Hyderabad. It is requested to coordinate with concerned authorities; ensuring
payment of Diyat amount to the legal heirs of the victim through concerned District & Sessions
Court as per laws/rules and furnish complete report to this office.
