This VCL has provided me with valuable professional experience. This professional
experience has allowed me to present my academic and professional abilities as well as to
strengthen attributes important for effective involvement in a professional setting, such as
self-identity and teamwork.
I got the opportunity to take part in this course, which was online with Microsoft teams. I
learned how to design, create, and develop a technology business. It was the course of two
semesters, over a period of a 4-month course at York St. John University, that provided this
professional experience.
3 Time management and organizational skills: VCL taught me time management skills,
which were crucial in helping me plan my work in a way that allowed me to achieve my
objectives. Entrepreneurs must also be able to manage their time and be organised. Breaking
down work into manageable to-do lists and setting deadlines and reasonable goals for
ourselves and our team are two strategies that can help us improve these skill sets.
4 Creative thinking skills: Creative thinking is the process of considering situations from
innovative perspectives and developing an open-minded mindset. Using creative thinking
during VCL allowed me to generate new ideas, interpret situations, identify themes and
design alternatives. Being a creative thinker involves trying to find new ways to approach
existing situations and finding value in diverse mindsets, methods and theories. Creative
thinking is prominent in enterpreneurship but also has a key role in developing technology
and business.
Budgeting and financial statement analysis are essential financial skills for business owners. I
learnt how to develop a realistic budget and how adhering to it might be the difference
between success and failure for our company. I learned this important financial skill so that I
may avoid overpaying and make the most use of my company's resources in the future. It's
also important to know how to read and create financial records like balance sheets, income
statements, and cash flow statements. These documents let me track performance, make
future projections, and manage spending, as well as provide reporting and tax paperwork.

I've built a mind that is still developing. As an aspiring entrepreneur, it's critical to have a
growth mindset. A growth mindset, in contrast to a fixed mindset, views intelligence,
abilities, and talents as innately stable and unchanging throughout time. Despite having good
business experience, the entrepreneur admits that he was missing some crucial aspects of
entrepreneurship, including investment structure, funding, and valuation. Not only did the
training increase my understanding of the topics, but it also taught me the value of testing and
iteration in the entrepreneurial process. "Despite the fact that it was not something I was
completely unfamiliar with, I saw the value of it within a business,"
I've learnt how to establish a business and grow into a successful entrepreneur, which will
help me to achieve my career aspirations. My most important career goal and aspiration is to
own a business. I want to start my own firm, and the abilities connected with
entrepreneurship may also help me flourish as a company or organisation employee. Our
desire to establish a business demonstrates our determination and enthusiasm.
As my most essential career objective and aim is to form my own firm, I have designed a
business concept that is a technology business named Argo Consulting based on my
professional knowledge from Venture Creation Lab programme. I will surely implement this
business plan in the future and establish a company.
Argo Consultancy will be a global marketing consulting organisation that specialises in high-
tech products. The organisation provides a reliable, larger alternative with resources for major
companies in terms of business growth, market expansion, and worldwide marketing.
Argo will have the expertise and experience required by a high-tech company to develop new
product distribution and market segments in new regions.
Argo will target high-tech companies that manufacture computer hardware and software, as
well as services and networking, in the US and European markets, as well as Latin America.
The vast bulk of these businesses are massive, with a few medium-sized businesses thrown in
for good measure.
