DHRUV DAR PROFILE
Dhruv Dar is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kharagpur, and Post Graduate in
Business Management from XLRI.
He has approximately 35 years work experience with organizations like Tata
Motors, Wartsila Diesel, Samtel Color, and General Motors, Delphi Automotive
Systems. He has now been with the American Society for Quality, for 10 years.
Dhruv has specialized in both Japanese and Western Quality techniques, and
has worked extensively with companies to improve their performance in the
fields of Quality, Cost and Delivery to upgrade them to global levels.
Dhruv has conducted training programs and workshops on various Quality
topics like Lean, Six Sigma, Quality Engineering, problem solving techniques,
Quality Inspector, etc. at a number of MNC & Indian organizations, and public
sector organizations.
CIBY JAMES PROFILE
Ciby James is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore. He brings a
background of over 30 years of wide-ranging experience in operations
management, strategic planning and quality. He has led the quality function in
both the manufacturing and service sectors, in leading companies.
Ciby has earlier been Vice President of Business Excellence for Escorts Limited
where he led initiatives for process excellence and performance improvement,
Senior Director of Continuous Improvement Worldwide for Convergys
Corporation, where he led Six Sigma implementation and Vice President,
Institute of Quality Limited, part of the NIIT Group. He has mentored hundreds
of improvement projects using problem solving techniques, and is a Six Sigma
Black Belt.
Ciby has also held critical roles in Whirlpool of India, Siel Limited and Maruti
Suzuki and has been involved with a number of successful product launches
and transformational initiatives.
