Position: Garment Construction and Design Management Associate

Description: Design and produce clothing collections. Manage and train interns.

About Sky Jacket
Sky Jacket, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda is a Mozambican company who specializes in
garment construction and enhancing the function and practicality of inanimate object by
integrating them with Information Technology (software and hardware). Our main
objective to offer IoT solutions and services.

We are looking for a young (at heart; as in curious) and dynamic individual to fill the role of
a Garment Construction and Design Management Associate, who is passionate in what they
do and curious enough to try implement unorthodox ideas.

Requirements
 Garment construction certificate or relevant
 2 years experience in garment design and/or garment construction
 Able to sew garment operating industrial sewing machines
 Able to draft basic sewing patterns
 Basic computer skills
 Project management skills
 Able to use project management software
 Able to evaluate and correct garments produced and pattern designs.
 Willing to learn 3D garment design
 Able to document production processes and design them
 Able to seek support when necessary

Responsibilities
 Design a 10 piece clothing collections
 Draft all clothing construction patterns
 Design production plans
 Construct 2 piece garments
 Submit hourly and daily progress reports
 Buy clothing material
 Collect customer measurements
  Learn how to produce 3D garments using Marvelous Designer Software
 Attend garment construction training
 Train interns in pattern design and garment construction
