1. Mind Mapping (Also called Spider Diagrams):

 It is presented by Tony Buzan.
 A mind map is a graphical way to represent ideas and concepts.
 It is a visual thinking tool that helps structuring information,
helping you to better analyze, recall and generate new ideas.
 It includes a central idea surrounded by connected branches
of associated topics.
 The key to mind mapping is to take note of every idea that comes
up. Don’t neglect anything.
 A Mind Map can be applied to every aspect of life where
improved learning and clearer thinking will enhance human
performance.

General Tips for creating a mind map

 Go deeper: every node or branch on a mind map could be its own

mind map.
 Nobody’s perfect: don’t focus on perfection, let your ideas explode,
and organize it later.
 Share it: when you finish, share it with your study colleagues.
 Don't use the “on the page” mentality: your brain isn’t restricted to
one page, so your mind maps shouldn't be either.

2. The Checklist (Your plan)

 A checklist is basically a list of items required, points
to think or the things needed to be done.

that all the important aspects are covered.

that they don’t forget something.
 The items in a checklist are listed according to its
level of priority similar to a to-do list.

6 Tips For Creating Great Checklists

 The objective /goal must be clear, so you should ask
yourself, What is the measurable result or other
information that the checklist should produce?.

2. Structure it logically
A good quality checklist guides the user. The
questions are in a logical order.
 A logical checklist is well divided into separate
sections, presents logical sets of simple questions.

3. Make questions simple and unbiased

 Every question in a checklist needs to be understood by
its user.
 A scale question (like “a scale from 1-5, how clean was
the room” with answering options “good”,
“satisfactory”, “bad” etc.) is not only biased but also
rather uninformative and nor useful.
 A much better way is to ask specific/closed questions
(YES or NO questions).
 YES or NO questions like “are the doors locked” has
only two possible objective answers.
 So always keep the questions more definite.
