Objectives

• After the presentation, SLPs will be able to correctly identify proper body
mechanics from demonstrations 90% of the time.
• After the presentation, SLPs will be able to correctly demonstrate a proper
hip hinge with their partner 4 out of 5 reps.
• After the presentation, 80% of SLPs will acknowledge the importance
of proper body mechanics and posture in an anonymous survey.

Lifting

• Communicate with person what is going to

• Center of mass (COM) and base of support
