Activity Report
• Activity planning for the upcoming year has continued
- Sub-committee headed by the Events Coordinator was established to oversee the
planning of Guild Fest (the role of the IAC in Guild Fest).
- Members of the Core Executive were assigned to sit either on the IAC Guild Fest
Planning Committee or the Tobago Tour Planning Committee.
- Conceptualization of Caribbean Integration Week 2020/2021 being worked out.
• Budget Proposals from the various National Associations were requested and submitted.
• The Vincentian Students Association (VINSA) hosted a food sale in their home country (St.
Vincent and the Grenadines)
• The Grenada Students Association hosted a “Snack Box Fundraiser” in their home country
(Grenada).
• The Bahamas Students Association hosted a virtual event geared towards providing incoming
Bahamian students with information relating to accomodation, travel et cetera.
• The Trinidad and Tobago Students Associations coordinated an informational session for
incoming students in collaboration with with their Mona and Cave Hill counterparts.
• Engagements with DSSD on Immigration changes has continued.
- Contact information for all National Associations were requested and provided.
- Immigration forum for students to be held soon
• ISATT held their election and their elected President and Vice-President were appointed to
the International Affairs Committee.
• Assistant-PRO was appointed.
• IAC Representative was assigned to the Guild Library Committee
• Chairperson and Treasurer attended Financial
Symposium hosted by the Guild Treasurer.
• Deputy Chairperson assumed the role of acting
Chairperson.
Challenges
- DOMSATT still unable to facilitate an election so the full complement of the
International Affairs Committee is still not yet entirely constiuted.
