FEASIBILTY STUDY ON LITTLE BLUE PENGUIN BANK

Since 1981, when Penguin Bank was founded, it has been a part of the system for
quite some time. The bank's executives wanted to investigate the cost and benefits
of updating and extending the structure, therefore a feasibility study was done.

For this reason, it is necessary to comprehend you. To get the perspectives of two
significant entities, I interviewed the senior management and asked them the
following questions.
How the president system works
• What are drawbacks are in the present system
• What is the admission about their new systems
• What specific facilities they want from new systems, those are currently not
in scope of existing systems
• How will data flow in the system
• Who will be Authenticated to access data and his/her access rights

I interviewed existing users of the system by asking the following questions to

learn more about the system's operating mechanism, such as the means of
obtaining inputs and producing output:
• Are they comfortable with the present system
• What flaws exist in the current system
• Do they need the necessities of new systems
Technical feasibility
The project's work will be done utilizing current equipment, existing S/W
technology, and available employees, among other things. What are the chances
that the new technology will be created if it is needed?
Technically, this billing software is doable. The availability of Windows 2000 or
higher versions of operating systems installed in the network is the major
technological prerequisite. MS Access, which was previously installed, is also
necessary. VB6,0 was necessary for program development, and it was also
available. There was also data security, reliability, and access power. If new
technology is obtained, the system can also be developed. As a result,
technological feasibility was achieved on all fronts.

Validation
Almost every sensitive field in the database, i.e. one that is responsible for
significant changes, is verified. Basically, we validated the field as numeric and the
length in the case of primary keys, and we also used the data base to complete most
of the details once entered at the data entry time, so that the user will not have any
problems or make any mistakes in the fine, status, book number that can be issued,
and other important fields while performing the transaction at a faster rate.
Validation is usually performed in lost focus, click, change, and other similar
events, where the input value is compared to the one recorded in the database, and
if there is duplication or no match, the entry is deleted and the user is prompted to
renter it.
