1. What are the major goals & objectives of Social Studies Education? How can you, as a Social
studies teacher, help in achieving these goals and objectives?

 The primary goal and objective of social studies education is to prepare students to be decent
citizens. We live in a diversified culture that demands social studies expertise to prosper. Children
who have had a social studies education grow up to be people who can engage civilly in our
democratic society. As a teacher, I may contribute to the achievement of this goal and objective
by teaching them the proper thing to do based on the curriculum provided, as well as how to
apply it to themselves and society.

2. How can you incorporate technology and social media in social studies teaching?

 Self-directed learning is encouraged by technology and social media, which prepares students to
find answers and make decisions on their own. These technological and social media abilities can
be guided and refined in the classroom to promote greater learning outcomes and critical
awareness. We may use this in the classroom to teach students how to properly use technology
and students.

3. What are the skills needed by students in order to be successful in their Social studies
Education? How will you teach these skills?

 Communication skills, creativity, a broad range of thinking, initiative, leadership, and a variety of
other abilities are required of students in order for them to excel in social studies education. We
can teach them these skills by doing it on our own. We should show them the skills that they may
acquire so that you can educate them how to apply these skills to succeed in social studies
education.

4. As a Social studies teacher, what is my role in supporting college and career readiness of my
students?

 My goal as a social studies teacher is to promote moral ideals and behaviors in students, as well
as to serve as a role model by demonstrating positive character characteristics in the classroom
and in society. We can also educate students how to respect the rights of others and how to
accept responsibility for their own conduct. And, in terms of career readiness, we should ensure
that our students fulfill demanding academic requirements and encourage independent study so
that they are prepared to become self-sufficient and more prepared for college and careers.
