INTRODUCTION
Production in modern industrial system is the result of the joint efforts of all the factors of production. Organization is the one of the factor of production and labour /people is an active factor that controls all the other factors of production and coordinates them to get the maximum output at minimum cost. Human factor has greater effect on the productivity because productivity depends on productivity of labour as it is not possible to work with high quality of material & modern machines. A worker is not a worker he is regarded as man at work he is influenced & controlled by many fears, frustrations needs, and motivations and attitudes. ORGANISATION It is a group of people working together for a common purpose or common goal.

BEHAVIOUR
Its a way of action & goal oriented & this behavior is generally motivated by a desire to attain goal.

ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR
It is the study of individuals and their behavior within the context of the organization in a work place setting. It is an interdisciplinary field that includes sociology, psychology, communication and management. And it has tremendous effect on organizational effectiveness. Understanding of human behavior significantly directs the human efforts for attainment of goals of an organization. So study of organizational behavior helps (nurse managers) to understand the dynamics of individuals, groups, nursing goals and suggests for improving organizational effectiveness.
