B2 ASSIGNMENT

“Some people think women should be allowed to join the army, the navy and
the air force just like men.
To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer.”
(write 250 words at least)
Some individuals believe that women should be able to join the army, navy, and air
force in the same way that males do. In my opinion, I strongly agree with the given
statement for three reasons.
In the first, women have always been completely capable of completing their tasks
in the military, as history has proved. There have been many valiant female
warriors throughout history whose achievements have put their male counterparts
to shame. Vo Thi Sau was a female guerrilla in the anti-French resistance war in
Vietnam, who repeatedly carried out assassinations of French officers and
Vietnamese people who contributed to the French colonial government in South
Vietnam. . . The image of brave girls overcoming the rain of bombs and bullets for
smooth traffic has been proudly portrayed alongside the harsh conditions on "the
roads of the beloved Fatherland". To this day, those exemplary hearts are always
mentioned and silently thanked for their sacrifices.
In second, many women are currently interested in joining the army, navy, or air
force. Because maintaining a peaceful country, as well as maintaining the country's
borders and territory, is something that not only males but also women, can do. In
Vietnam, where I reside, there are a lot of support, encouragement, and subsidies
for women who wish to join the army, navy, or air force because of their volunteer
spirit.
Finally, female troops are largely competent in operating contemporary weaponry,
according to popular belief and human experience. Large-scale automation is, in
fact, the most distinguishing feature of today's weapons. Women, on the other
hand, are not physically as strong as males, but they have the intellectual capacity
to operate highly automated arms without the need for large biceps practice.
In conclusion, serving in the military as a woman is worthwhile in this day and
age. And I'm confident that giving women equal rights in this area is in the best
interests of the country.
