Ed Westwick - Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet 2013 Film

In the interview, Westwick mentions how many of the characters are attempting to solve the feud
with diplomacy. It seems as if the feud will one day come to an end. He mentions how Tybalt has
been put in place to ruin things and just be a problem caused throughout. He is a character with an
edge and a lot of colour - cares not for all but his family name.

In the film, Westwick portrays Tybalt to have an intense stare that reveals how passionate he is at
what he is looking at - be it a foe, who he is bearing hatred for. Westwick’s body language shows
that he is confident and not one to back down. His shoulders are back and bis posture is solid and
upright. He may carry himself like this because of his higher status - remembering it is set during the
17th century.
