About your task or Activity what tools did you use ?
I firstly put in the motherboard and screwed it in, I then put in the
new one and upgraded ram, I also put in the upgrade CPU.
I plugged in the SSD and put the screws in, I also added the DVD
burner.
I plugged in the power supply and checked that all the parts were
screwed in and plugged in correctly, I made sure that my cables
were neat and tidy.
I put the webcam onto the monitor and plugged in the keyboard and
mouse.
I also inserted the fan into the admin’s computer.

Organising your task…

How did you finalise your task and did it suit its purpose?

I stress tested the CPU and ran some other tests for all the other
parts I installed to make sure everything was running well.
The computer required these upgrades to suit the purpose for the
work they will do, and it will last them a lot longer.
Reviewing Your Work

Did you have any problems? If so how did you overcome these issues, are there any
steps you could take to prevent similar instances in the future.

One of the problems I faced was trying to stay within the budget
that was given, which was hard as it was a small budget to work
with. I unfortunately lost a lot of screws and I had to replaces these,
which is a lesson learnt to be more careful.

What improvements could you make if asked to do something similar in the future?

I would advise the customer even though they were on a small

budget that in the long term it would be easier to upgrade the
PCs completely, although the upgrades are still fine to do in the
old computers it would be more cost effective for them to buy new.

Did you receive any feedback from anyone?

They were pleased with the upgrades, and it made their PCs more
efficient, but they could understand that in the long term that the
computers would need to be replaced.
