Celebrity interview questions are asked by journalists and feature writers for magazine,
newspaper, blog, tabloids, news channels, etc. A celebrity, although not appearing for an
interview, has to keep in mind that a lot of people are looking forward to read about him/her.
Making a celebrity interview informal and playful is a task that the interviewer and the
celebrity, both have to take care of.

As a celebrity, one has to ensure that he/she takes the questions in a playful manner and
answers tactfully. Whereas an interviewer should see to it that while asking personal questions,
s/he does not gets too candid and stay in the ethics of the profession to make the interview
perfect.

What made you pick the dress you are wearing?

Answer: As a celebrity, you should make the environment casual and playful by replying in an

Which celebrities you believe are the most influential?

Answer: Tell about the people who have influenced not just you, but the society at large. It is
not necessary that you only name celebrities. You can also speak about people from other
walks of life that have made an impact on you and whose work you admire.

On what do you spend the most: clothes, accessories, perfumes, underwear, or anything
else?

Answer: You can answer this question honestly or joke as if you will tell the details, the income
tax department might seize all your clothes, accessories, etc., because you spend a fortune on
them every weekend. Or may be you can also tell that you have been planning to launch your
own brand of apparels and accessories and would rather make people spend on it.

Are you a bathroom singer?

Answer: Tell the interviewer that what happens behind the closed doors of bathroom, dies
there itself.

Whom do you love more, your parents, friends, spouse, kids, siblings, your yourself?

Answer: Tell the interviewer that there is an equal room for every friend and family member.
Or simply ask him to drop in at your home someday and see for himself as to whom do you
love the most.

What do you do when not working?

Answer: Whatever you do on weekends and on days when you are not loaded with work, tell
it to the interviewer and also tell what are your plans for the coming weekend. You can even
jokingly ask the interviewer to accompany you for a game of golf or ask him/her about a crazy
thing to do for your next vacation.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Answer: Answer with a sigh. Tell the interviewer that you just fell on the ground when you first
saw your boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse, and ever since you have been searching for people
who believe in this concept, just to clear their doubts.

Where do you see yourself in the competition?

Answer: Do not give a diplomatic answer such as you do not believe in the number game or
competition. Of course, there is competition and you are prone to it. Tell the interviewer
whatever opinion you have about your stand.

Where do you think you will be after 25 years?

Answer: Jokingly, you can request the interviewer that you would appreciate if s/he gets time
to interview you again after 25 years. On a serious note, you can make him aware of your
future plans as well.

There can be many more interview questions that an interviewer may ask a celebrity. Some of
the questions are more personal in nature whereas other questions may raise a finger on your

I'm the cofounder of Keep a Child Alive. We provide medicine for families affected by HIV
and AIDS in places like Africa and India.

I really want to experience India.

9. What is on your perennial to-do list?

I want to continue to produce film, television, and theater, and to make the most amazing
music that I've made in my life.

10. What are the last three items on your credit card statement?

Vitamins. I take multivitamins, probiotics, and vitamin D. I also bought a Big Wheel tricycle
for Egypt and paid for his school applications.

11. What item in your closet do you wear the most?

I have this vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycle jacket. When I put it on, it has this
supercool feeling to it.

12. Who are your heroes?

My mother, my grandmother, and Maya Angelou.

13. Who is on the guest list for your ideal dinner party?

Bono, Sheryl Sandberg, Michelle Obama, Tina Fey, and I wouldn't mind Chris Rock.
Definitely my husband, too.
