ARE THERE NATURAL DISASTERS IN YOUR

COUNTRY?
In my experiences with some natural disasters are terrible, my most difficult moment
was when Tacna has a dust storm because I was in class on my college and the weather
was rare, I saw the color of the sky, it was red or orange! And the wind was hot. I
remember I asked my teachers about an earthquake, maybe it could happen and my
teachers answered that I kept calm and relaxed because nothing happened in this
moment.
Then, the wind increased and each moment the students and teachers were worried
because at first, the wind had a little bit of dust, but it gained a lot of dust with the
minutes until nothing could be seen around for the dust and sand.
The principal of the school said the students could go home quicky because the situation
was terrible. Many parents were waiting to pick their sons and others students went
home alone. In my case, my parents waited for me in the school then we went for my
brother at his class and finally we went home because the weather was horrible and
dangerous.
My brother was so scared and I felt afraid because was the first time to live this. In
home, the wind was hitting the doors and a lot of the sand was into the house. At night
the light went out and only had a radio to listened the notices of the situation with my
family.
All of that was new for me and I never forgot the panic to produce on me because I
thought in many negative possibilities to could happen in this moment.
