temporal sequence or chronological order.

READING:
Dear Diary,
Today, I had the most awful luck. Once again, as usual, nothing went right for
me. Nothing but bad luck.
This morning the weather was nice, so I decided to walk to school. I left early.
It was nice when I left, but halfway from school the weather changed. I didn’t
bring my umbrella, so I started to run to find a shelter. On the way, I dropped
my bag. It burst open and all my books were thrown out. Everything got wet.
When I finally got to school, the gate was closed because I was late. I had to
run around the soccer field as a punishment.
At the second break, I talked to Rudi. I’ve known Rudi for two weeks, but I
like this guy so much. So I asked him if he wanted to go to the band festival
with me on Friday. And he said yes! I couldn’t believe it! My luck had finally
changed! But, unfortunately, it didn’t last. In the afternoon, the committee
made an announcement that the band festival was cancelled!
After school, I took a jitney home because it looked like it would rain again. It
didn’t rain, but the jitney broke down, and the passengers had to find another
one, which was difficult during the rush hour. When I finally got home, there
was a blackout. It lasted for three hours. I couldn’t type my biology report.
I hate days like today. Will my luck ever get better?
