Cold Waters DotMod Manual Install Guide

Prerequisites: Manually delete your Cold Waters install via File Explorer, using the Steam
“uninstall button” does NOT work.
1. Download the latest release of DotMod from here: https://github.com/Dot-
M134/ColdWaters-DotMod/releases.
1a. To locate the latest release of DotMod, scroll to the top of the page.

1b. Click “Assets” then download the .zip.

2. Extract the files from the .zip.
2a. Right click the .zip and hit “Extract All…”

2b. Select a location to move the extracted files to.

3. Move ColdWaters_Data to your main Cold Waters install.

3a. Copy the ColdWaters_Data folder from the extracted .zip folder.
3b. Paste it into your Cold Waters install folder.
 NOTE: It may ask you if you wanted to overwrite two files, tell it yes.

4. Confirm you have installed the mod.

4a. Travel to Cold Waters/ColdWaters_Data/Streaming Assets, and look for the
“dotmod” folder. If it is not there, try again.

4b. Load the game, and confirm it says DotMod in the bottom right corner.

5. Good Hunting!

How To Update DotMod Manually

1. Download the latest version of the mod off GitHub.
2. Delete your “dotmod” folder from StreamingAssets.
3. Move ColdWaters_Data from the extracted .zip folder to your Cold Waters install.
