OIKOS – formerly known as the Center for Applied Mathematics and Construction
Informatics Centre CAMICE under the Vietnam Construction Association, was
established on March 1st, 1986 and is a pioneer in the field of design, supply and
installation of heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) systems in Vietnam. After
nearly 40 years of development, OIKOS has not only made its mark with hundreds of
large projects in the country, including 16 1st, 2nd and special grade projects, but also
always holds the leading reputation for efficiency as well as quality of construction and
operation.

Milestones
 1986: OIKOS, formerly known as CAMICE under the Vietnam Construction
Association, was established and is one of the pioneers in the field of design and
installation of HVAC systems. .

 1987: Selected as the only partner to construct, maintain, renovate and upgrade
HVAC systems for all terminals of Noi Bai International Airport.

 1991: OIKOS was the first unit in Vietnam to construct HVAC systems for
museums, film archives and network management centers... These projects
required a HVAC system with advanced construction techniques to meet special
requirements for temperature and humidity. Remarkable projects include: Film
Archive - Vietnam Institute of Cinematic Arts and Archives (1991), Thai Nguyen
Fine Arts Museum (1994), Vietnam Museum of Ethnic Cultures (1996) , Vietnam
Fine Arts Museum (1998), Vietnam Institute of Film Arts and Archives (2000), Ho
Chi Minh Mausoleum (2002), Ho Chi Minh Museum (2006), Center for National
Network and Data Communication Management VDC (2007)…

 1992 – OIKOS was transformed into Architecture and Environment Company

Limited (OIKOS) according to the Law on Enterprises of Vietnam.

 1992: Being the first unit in Vietnam to construct HVAC systems with specialized
technical requirements to ensure the most authentic sound quality for theaters,
recording studios, and cinemas. movie. Past projects include: Voice of Vietnam
Radio Studio (1992), Tan Son Nhat Cinema (1993), Central Drama Theater (1995),
Vietnam Symphony Theater (1995), Vietnamese Music & Dance Theater (1999),
Hanoi Conservatory of Music Performance Room (2001), Opera House (2004)…

 1996: Construction of medical projects with special requirements for ventilation

and sterilization such as Vietnam France International Hospital (1996), Central
Institute of Medical Assessment (2002)

 1997: Construction of specialized HVAC systems with technical requirements on

temperature, wind flow and humidity applied to printing houses. Past projects
include: Tran Phu Printing House (1997), People's Army II Printing House (1997,
2004), People's Army Newspaper Printing House I (1998), Youth Newspaper
Printing Enterprise (1999), Financial Printing Company (2000), Ho Chi Minh City
People's Newspaper Printing House (2001)
 1999: Construction of office buildings for state agencies such as Voice of Vietnam
(1999), Nam Dinh Provincial Post Office (1999), General Department of
Construction of People's Public Security Forces (2000), The Supreme People's
Procuracy (2002)…

 2004: Supply and installation of HVAC systems for Vietnam National Shipping
Lines (1 Dao Duy Anh, Hanoi). This is the project where the HVAC system has
been installed with the largest capacity in North Vietnam at the time of
construction.

 2005: Construction of industrial HVAC systems for factories and industrial parks
such as Hai Phong Nomura Industrial Park, Uong Bi Thermal Power Plant (2005),
Bio-fuel production plant Dung Quat Quang Ngai (2011)…

 2009: Construction of complex buildings such as Song Da Twin Towers HH4

(2009), Lugiaco Apartment, Trade and Service Complex (2010), Binh Yen
Building (2012), Central Hapulico Complex Office and Commercial Center (2012),
in which Song Da Twin Towers HH4 required the installation of the VRV Daikin
central air conditioning system which had the largest capacity in North Vietnam at
the time of construction.

 2013: Became a long-term partner of VinGroup to construct HVAC systems for

commercial, educational and apartment complexes such as R5 Royal City (2013) ),
T9 Times City Building Complex (2014), R6 Royal City Building Complex
(2015), Vincom Trung Tu Shopping Center (2016), Vincom Tuyen Quang Trade
Center (2016)…

 2016 - Celebrating 30 years of establishment. Converted into a joint stock company

 2017: Became the General Contractor of ME system for VinGroup, including

construction of air conditioning and ventilation systems, heavy electricity, light
electricity, water supply and drainage, fire protection.

 2018: Received the Class 2 Certificate of Competency in Construction Practice

issued by the Ministry of Construction

 2019-2020: General contractor for construction of Vinhomes Smart City Tay Mo

(Vingroup)

 2021: Completed the construction of the Headquarters of Vietnam Airlines

Corporation.
