My artwork is a watercolour painting of the Nile River in Egypt mimicking Japanese sumi-e

artworks I used black water colour and various shades of oranges, yellow and a deep red for
the sun. In my artwork I used water colour to paint the Nile River in Egypt while the sun is
setting, I used black to show the mountains and trees in the background of the Nile River I
used different shades of orange and yellow to replicate the mirroring of the sky on the
water of the Nile River, I drew the sun as a deep red to show that the sun is setting. In my
artwork I show my culture which is the Egyptian culture things that represent the Egyptian
culture in my artwork is the Nile River. My artwork is a mimic of the Sumi-e artwork
technique. A part in my artwork that is inspired by my culture is the Nile River which is the
main focus of my artwork. The most successful part of the artwork would probably be the
representation of the culture and identity and a part I could improve is the amount of time I
spend creating the actual artwork and my time management.
