My dairy entries

5th June 2017

Dear dairy,
Right now, I am laying on my hospital bed half dead! Today is only my second day
visiting Egypt and my family and it hasn’t been anything but hell!! Yesterday when we
first came to Egypt, I was feeling a little sick in the airport but as more time went by, I
only got worse and worse. We went to my grandma’s house where she had a huge
dinner prepared just for us and I could barely eat one bite. I felt like throwing up, while
my cousins and family were having dinner I was lying in bed as my temperature kept
getting higher. They gave me medicine and did everything, but my temperature
wouldn’t go down. We stayed at my grandma’s house, around 5 am when everyone
woke up to pray Fajir my temperature was up to 40 degrees, and it wasn’t going down.
My mum and aunt took me and ran to the nearest hospital. They did some blood tests
and attached a needle to me and put me in a hospital room. My aunt made my mum go
since she is pregnant with my baby brother, while she stayed with me. After a bit I
passed out and woke up to family members visiting me. My uncle came and bought me
flowers, chocolates and a teddy bear, my cousins came my other grandparents and
more. My mum was coming to check up on me when she fell of the stairs and fractured
her ankle. They checked to see if the baby was fine, he was all good thank God. She had
to get her foot wrapped and had to leave it on for around 2 months. My aunt is going to
stay with me in the hospital at night since my mum can’t.

24th December 2021

Dear dairy,

Guess where I am right now. Well, you can’t actually guess so I’ll tell you I am in the Gold
Coast sitting on my hotel bed. I KNOWWW I am sooo excited. I woke up at 5:30 in the
morning got dressed and got in the car. I slept the whole way to the airport we waited
around 2 hours and then got on the plane, the flight was around an hour and ½ long.
When we got off the plane, we claimed our luggage and took a taxi to the hotel we were
going to stay at. When we got to the hotel I unpacked, took a shower, and then had a
nap. When I woke up, we went to the beach had dinner out and then got some ice
cream. We were here with some family friends (Dareen and Farida) we stayed at my
hotel room for a while listening to music and watching tv then around 12 am everyone
went to their own hotel room.
26th December 2021
Dear diary,

Today I woke up early and watched the sunrise from the 25th floor’s balcony it looked
extraordinary, the golden sun rays gave the clouds and meadows colour. I went down for
breakfast with my parents, siblings, and family friends. After breakfast everyone went to
their hotel rooms and put on their swimsuits and got ready to go to the beach. The waves
were breathtaking it was an amazing day for the beach. After a while we had lunch at the
beach then we went back to our hotel rooms showered and then Farida and Dareen came to
my room my put music on the speaker and danced. We went out for dinner that day. After
dinner me Dareen and Farida got in our swimsuits again and then went to the swimming
pool, swimming at night is seriously the best thing ever!!! We swam for around an hour and
sat in the jacuzzi for a bit. We all went upstairs to my hotel room and took turns getting
changed. After we all got dressed, we went out and got Gong Cha we put music on the
speaker after and just hung out, and then after a while we put on a movie and had some
snacks.
