1st date with my girlfriend

Once a blissful day in Caloocan city comes with Jamyka’s (our friend) birthday. She
invited us to go to mall with our circle of friends. That day, we’re on the school,
and we only had shortened period. After class, we all went home and agreed to
meet in Glorietta. As we prepare ourselves for the “gala”, also, prepare yourselves
for the events and happenings as we spend our day in SM Fairview.

***(Pardon for the title, it’s supposed to be “Jamyka’s birthday” but I used that
title because me and my girlfriend (Kliea) spent that day together as if it isn’t my
friend’s birthday.)

As we all went home after school, we immediately put our clothes on and got
ready to dispatch. I remember going home with Jiann and Jerusalem, we changed
clothes here in our house and we’ve gone to the meeting place together. While
waiting, we are almost all complete but we’re still waiting for someone, Kliea. She
is the last one to arrive in the group even though she is very excited because this
is the first time she’ll ever go out with her friends (she has strict parents so usually
she can’t go on meets like this one). We all waited for her while chatting with each
other about what we’ll be doing in the mall.

Minutes passed, there she comes, Iea, with her beautiful smile. She’s wearing that
beautiful white short matched with her jeans, it’s her typical style. Months already
passed but I still can’t forget that smile she had as she came running to my arms.
Her smell still lingers to my nose as it’s the most favorite scent I ever set my nose
on. I am so speechless, everything about her is beautiful and worth falling in love
with.

We are all complete now and we’ve all boarded the jeepney. My girlfriend sat next
to me as we both chatted until we arrive at our destination. Upon arrival, we got
split up with the group for a while and went on a simple date for ourselves. We
bought JCO’s Oreo cheesecake and hung out in that particular place. After we
finished the set meal we ordered, we immediately regrouped with our friends and
settled to eat our lunch in KFC.

After eating, we’ve all gone to our separate ways. Me and Iea gone to the bank to
meetup with my mom because we need to settle my bank account. While waiting
for me, Iea and my mom had a chat about their own lives and to how they can
relate to each other. After I’m done in the bank business, we both gone to
Fairview Terraces. We shot some pictures in the photobooth and played games in
Timezone, those moments are one of the core memories in my life with her.

Hours came by and it’s already night time, we chose to spend our last hours
together in the garden of the mall. I bought us cucumber lemonade as we both
talked about literally all about our lives. These moments are what I crave and want
in a relationship. Just me, and her, and no one else. There are some people who
jammed and song and we decided to join them. A huge crowd surrounds the
performers and it was truly mesmerizing. You can feel the vibe on the air. I don’t
know why but I cried when they sang “bawat piyesa” by Munimuni and tears fell
down my face as I saw the person that’s completed and collected every piece of
me. The most important person in the world for me. My girlfriend, Iea.

While singing “Bawat Piyesa” with her, side by side, and feeling the vibe, suddenly,
thoughts came rushing to my mind. I really can’t believe how far we’ve come, and
I’m very proud of us. Every challenge made us not weaker, but stronger. Everyday
has been magnificent when it was spent with her. “Ang bawat piyesa na bumubuo
sa’yo. Ang bawat piyesang nawa’s mapasaakin, habang buhay” is the lyric that
stuck my mind many times as we both sang and jammed to this song. “I really
can’t imagine my world without her, I can’t live without her” is the thought I had
while singing. Embarrassingly, she saw me cry, and I don’t know why but after she
gave me a hug, everything felt better. It’s her magic, Iea’s magic.

Our day comes to an end, and it’s time to go home. She was picked up by her
family and we brought her to their meeting place. It’s the first time I saw her
family and I find it fun because they may be my family soon. I’m kind of saddened
because the relationship we had is illegal. Even though, we both had fun that day,
and surely, it will last on forever in our hearts.
