First of all, i would like to say thank you for giving me the chance to have this

interview.
My name is Ahmad Azrie. Born in England. Raised in Malaysia. I am 26 years old.
I've been playing the piano/keyboard since I was 12 years old till now.
I took Diploma in Music Performance at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris since
2014-2017(3 years).
And continued for my Bachelor Degree In Music Performance at ASWARA since 2017-
2020(3 years).
I got my Grade 5 ABRSM in 2017 before I continued my degree.
I have been teaching and freelancing as a musician for more than 1 year since i
graduated. (But I don't have more than 10 students along the way
maybe because of the covid situation.)
I had performed with local Malaysian artist for Roadshows, Government Events and
also two concerts at Istana Budaya.

enrolled through out their school. Provides one-to-one tailored musical
instruments lessons for students of all ages and abilities.
And was founded by two brothers, and that is Mr.Lawrence(Chairman&CEO) and
Mr.Julius(CTO&CFO).
They opened their first branch at Delfi Orchard on Septemper 2013.

Role and Responsibility of Aureus Music Teacher : Be a loving and caring teacher to

Age range of students : 6-12 years old (eldest 40+ but stopped)

Why do I enjoy teaching them : I feel very happy when they have overcome their task
or challenges, seeing them grow and their
progress through out the classes.

Instrument proficiency level : Grade 5 ABRSM for Piano and Bachelor Degree in
Modern Piano. And I'm still learning to be better.

Challenges with students : Try to search for errors in my teaching and solve it.
Either by going through google or youtube to find ways in
improving my teaching methods or finding what the students need during the class.

1. Music has the ability to bring us joy and comfort, to motivate us and to help us
relax.
2. Music is universal language - we can communicate through music
3. Music can be a therapy for some people

Future plans : In the future, I hope to further my study in music related field
such as music education.
I Hope to teach music or music related field at University level (diploma & degree
students).

Why I choose to work in Aureus : I wan't to gain new experience, trying to live
outside my comfort zone, and I hope to gain valuable experience
while working in Aureus Academy SG & and lastly, to improve my financial as i have
no stable income yet. Plus, I have alot of friends working there.
