FADE IN:

INT. POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Lauren is in a interegation room where she is being

questioned by DET. james allister about her past. She looks
annoyed and tired.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Lauren Hearst or do you prefer
Lola williams?

LAUREN HEARST
Lauren will do, officer allister.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Detective. Allister

LAUREN HEARST
Sure.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

How bout you begin by telling us
how it all went down and if you
cooperate we'll take off the
death sentence.

Detective allister throws a file

with the name lauren Hearst and
lola williams on the table.
Lauren eyes it out for a quick
second then begins to talk.

(CUT TO FLASHBACK)

INT. LAUREN AND CONNERS HOUSE - DAY

Lauren and conner are standing in the kitchen. Lauren

presents conner with a gift (watch). Argument occurs between
them.

LAUREN HEARST
Hey? I got you something while i
was out this morning.

CONNER HEARST
A watch.... really. All you know
is to bloody shop and spend my
money. I cant believe i married
you.

LAUREN HEARST
All i ever try do it is make you
happy.

CONNER HEARST
You'll never be able to satisfy
me, in any way. You're so bloody
useless you cant even give me a
son.

LAUREN HEARST
(breaks glass)
Youll never forgive me for that..
We could adopt, theres so many
options. Youre just a bitter old
man.

CONNER HEARST
What did you just call me..
(grabs her wrist)

LAUREN HEARST
Youre scaring me. Conner stop it
(breaks free)

Lauren runs out of the kitchen. Her eyes are teary and her
mascara was running.

EXT. GARDEN/ SWIMMING POOL - DAY

Lauren stops at the pool entrance. She sees Thomas smoking a

cigarette with his feet dipped in.

THOMAS HEARST
Why are you crying?

LAUREN HEARST
you know why Tommy. I cant take
it anymore.Hes starting to get
physical.. Hes scaring me.

THOMAS HEARST
My brother truly is a real piece
of work.
 3.

LAUREN HEARST
I think its time Tommy. I know we
can do it. You just have to say
you saw him carry out my body to
the fire place and by sunrise ill
be long gone from this place.

THOMAS HEARST
From me too?

LAUREN HEARST
Dont be crazy Tommy. We will see
eachother very soon. I mean The
money will be all yours too. That
aint so bad huh.

THOMAS HEARST
I dont care about the money.

They are both sitting on the edge of the pool with their feet
in the water sharing a ciggarette. Tommy checks this pocket
watch.

THOMAS HEARST (CONT'D)

It must be done tonight. Yes?

LAUREN HEARST
Yeah... tonight. I can do that.

They share a look before lauren gets up and goes back inside.

INT. POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Detective. Allister is looking at lauren. Lauren is smirking

and leaning back into her chair cockily.

LAUREN HEARST
I mean the fact that he actually
believed that i would meet with
him is hilarious. I just needed
him to play his part and that he
did.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Jesus, you're a real piece of
work, you know that.

det. allister brings his body forward placing his forearms on

the table. They both have a stare off. Its silent.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Please continue.

He waves his arms mockingly to which lauren smiles at.

INT. CAFE - DAY

Lauren is seated in a café with her face covered by a

newspaper. next to her is deliah.Pan/ zoom in shot of the
newspaper as the main headline is “remembering the death of
southern billionaire 5 years ago today”. She begins to read
the article.

LOLA WILLIAMS
"Thomas hearst brother of late
conner hearst acclaimed lawyer is
due to marry. Money which was
inherted following the death of
his brother will be donated to
charity"
This must be a joke. Charity ?

DELIAH
That money is yours anyways.

LOLA WILLIAMS
Was. Lauren hearst has been dead
for five years. But it will be
soon. That money will be mine
very soon.

END FLASHBACK.

EXT. POLICE STATION - DAY

Lauren huffs boredly.

END FLASHBACK WITH VOICE OVER.

LAUREN HEARST
I just needed to "accidenetly
bump into him.

Lauren is at the park. She spots Thomas and bumps into him.

LAUREN HEARST (CONT'D)

Tommy?

THOMAS HEARST
(wishpers)
Lauren?

LOLA WILLIAMS
Lola actually. Lola williams.
Jeez Tommy its been 5 years.

THOMAS HEARST
Yeah it really has been. I waited
for you. You never came.

LOLA WILLIAMS
I couldnt risk it Tommy. You know
that. That detective your brother
was friends with is still
convinced your brother was
innocent.

THOMAS HEARST
Im not letting you go this time.

LOLA WILLIAMS
Id hope not Tommy.

She pickes up his hand to hold. She sees the wedding band.

THOMAS HEARST
Its nothing serious lauren. You
are, and always will be, the only
one for me.

LOLA WILLIAMS
Lola. I cant have you slipping
up.

THOMAS HEARST
Youll always be my lauren.

END FLASHBACK.

INT. POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Lauren places her face into her hands while staring at

detective allister. Allisetern expression is one of
disbeleife. He scoffs at her. Lauren is offended by this.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Please dont stop on my behalf.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

Montage of lola and Thomas falling in love. The are at the

park for a picnic. They share dinner. Then they dance in the
living room.

LOLA WILLIAMS
Voice over: it was so easy for
him to discard his life and focus
on me. I convinced him i was so
heartbroken during our time away.

EXT PARK - DAY

At the park in a romatic embrace

INT. LOLAS HOUSE.

They are having dinner. Thomas has this loving gaze towards
her while lola is just staring at him with a smile.

EXT. LOLAS HOUSE. - MOMENTS LATER

They are sharing a dance.

THOMAS HEARST
We've wasted so much time being
away from each other.

LOLA WILLIAMS
We have all the time in the world
baby.

They continue dancing.

LOLA WILLIAMS (CONT'D)

Voice over: it was almost too
easy. he was willing to do
anything for me.

EXT. LOLAS HOUSE. - CONTINUOUS

She stops dancing. They are staring at each other.

THOMAS HEARST
Whats wrong?

LOLA WILLIAMS
Im scared Tommy. What if someone
catches on. I dont wanna lose
this. We have to do something.

THOMAS HEARST
Like what?

LOLA WILLIAMS
We can disappear. Leave.

THOMAS HEARST
We are perfectly fine like this.

LOLA WILLIAMS
Oh Tommy dont you love me! I
cannot live like this. You would
do this for me Tommy. Lets leave
a start a new life. Me and you.
Yes?

THOMAS HEARST
Of course lauren. Anything for
you. Always.

They embrace in a hug. lola looks up at Tommy.

LOLA WILLIAMS
You must put the money in my
name. Your wife might try
intervene. We cant have any
problems Tommy.

THOMAS HEARST
Anything for you.

CUT TO:

MONTAGE - MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND

INT. THOMAS HOUSE

Thomas removes his wedding band of his finger.

INT. LOLAS HOUSE. - DAY

Lauren gifts Thomas a watch.

END FLASHBACK.

EXT. POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Lauren is looking at detective Allister.

LAUREN HEARST
You know... it was all going to
plan. Everything. Then you just
had to show up.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

EXT. BANK

Thomas walks out of the bank. He bumps into detective

allister.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Thomas? What are you doing here?

THOMAS HEARST
I meet someone new James. im in
love.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Well who is she. Show us then.

THOMAS HEARST
Ahh you wont know her.

Thomas shows detective allister a photo of lola. Allister

brings the photo closer to inspect

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Wispers: lauren?

THOMAS HEARST
You should let it go you know.
Its been five years... i know he
was like a brother to you but he
was a angry man.

END FLASHBACK.

INT. LOLAS HOUSE. - NIGHT

Lola is preparing dinner for her and Thomas. She glances at

the clock. Thomas enters
 9.

THOMAS HEARST
Lauren sweetheart ive missed you

LAUREN HEARST
Tommy, darling, i missed you too.
Come sit. Lets eat dinner.

They sit down. Thomas places the papers on the table.

THOMAS HEARST
Its done. I went to the bank
today. Here are the papers.

He shows her the papers. Lauren looks at him with an empty

look then quickly puts a smile on. Lauren looks at the clock.

She removes the gun from her apron as Thomas is explaining

how the bank transfer went. She stands and points the gun at
him.

LAUREN HEARST
The paper Thomas. Pass it.

THOMAS HEARST
Lauren what- what is this? What
are you doing baby.

LAUREN HEARST
The papers Thomas. Give them to
me.

He passes the paper. A bang is heard. Lauren shoots him. She

drags his lifeless body outside.

EXT. GARDEN - NIGHT

Lauren drags the body out and relases it with an annoyed

sigh. She picks up his arm and removes the watch with a smile
on her face.

LAUREN HEARST
This is mine.

Lauren picks up duct tape.

 10.

EXT. CONT'D

Lauren is draging a body bag. She opens her car boot and
grabs his legs so she can put him in. Detective allister runs
in gun pointed at her.

DET. JAMES ALLISTER

Dont you dare make another move.
Hands let me see them up.

Lauren drops Thomas tapped up body and turns. She puts her
hands up and turns around with a smile on her face.
