Hello good evening, my name is Gabriel Bascuñán, it has been a long time since the last

time I made a written presentation of myself. How is everything? I hope you are well; I am
happy to have the opportunity to return to study.
I am currently working in a pharmacy, where I have the possibility of educating people
about their health care and guiding them about how to take the medications that the
doctor recommends. I define myself as a persevering person, I have black hair and brown
eyes, I am 1.70 meters tall and I really like chocolate.

Before graduating as a prevention technician, I had studied a nursing technician, which I

think will help my resume. In my spare time I like to create music, I play an electro-
acoustic guitar, I also do sports and I am an adept reader. My favorite books are The
Conspiracy, a novel by Dan Brown. I also have the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings
collection. My favorite music is electrodance, artists like Martin Garrix, Alok, Oliver
Heldens, Zedd and indie rock, bands like The Strokes, The Killers, Keane, The kooks, Arctic
Monkeys, Placebo, among others.
I was born in Villa Alegre in 1989, Maule region, 3 years later with my family we went to
live in the city of Rengo in the sixth region, and I came to Santiago in 2013.

My family is very hospitable. My mother is a seamstress, she likes decoration and makes
exquisite food. My father died in 2007 due to health problems, however, he taught us to
be united and to support each other among the brothers, we remember him with great
affection. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Recently, mom had a birthday and we were able
to meet; one of my sisters, Ivonne, lives in the north and I haven't seen her for a long
time, I asked her: - how's life? How have you been? It's been a long time, I'm glad to see
you. She works in the health field; she is a kinesiologist. My brothers work in the
construction field, Alonso the eldest is an electrical engineer and Ricardo the middle one is
an architectural draftsman, they really like soccer and barbecues, we often get together to
celebrate their children's birthdays, my nephews. My sister Ingrid is a philosophy teacher,
she also has the quality of making exquisite cakes, and finally there is my younger sister
Jeanette, who is currently studying psychology and hates math.
Together with them I grew up in times when the cell phone boom did not yet exist and I
think it was a great childhood.

My mother currently lives with Ricardo and is frequently visited by my aunt Veronica who
also lost her husband and helps her distract herself and they travel together.
We brothers and cousins go to Pichilemu every two years with a large group of old friends;
We brought the guitar, an accordion and a lot of beer. My cousin Maximiliano and my
cousin Constanza are both tall. My younger nephews stay at home reinforcing some
subjects of their studies.
In the future I would like to be a teacher and take classes on prevention mechanisms, I
think that as time goes by, we will discover our vocation in a better way.
