Hii guys,

my name is Rebeca, and I prefer that when call me Beca, I like to write, sing, dance, and I love
to stay in a contact with the nature, I love animals, and I feel like I have a free spirit, because I
think that is this connects me with things, I like watch movies and series, talk with my family, go
out with my friends, learn new things, have new experiences, be myself, look at the landscapes,
know new places, travel, I like to listen music, look at stars, talk about life, and watch people.

I’m in my first year of high school, I have around 18 subjects, many are in English, about
technologies, more diverse and each one lasts 45 minutes. I stay at school until afternoons, the
classes past noon. All classes are obligatory and there are extras too that we can choose, twice
a week. I choose chess because I have an interest in learning to play. I think it is so intellectual. I
always had so many assignments in school, and the common thing is the teamworks, I like to
lead the group, I like to be in control, and monitor people, explain and include everyone,
present works, ask questions, learn and understand what is happening.

I live in a big apartment downtown, it's near everywhere. It has a lot of plants, because we
love it. I think that plants make our place more comfortable. The living room is very spacious,
and I have my own room and it is my favorite part since I organize it my own way, and it is my
comfort place. My house is near to my school and my dad takes me to school every day. I have
a turtle and 2 cats as pets. My turtle is 36.

My mom is a public servant in a juridical area, and my dad works in planning and
construction.

I’m from Londrina in Paraná, it’s a city very big, a metropoly between the neighbors city, it's
very crowded, and I consider the people live here are very nice, and I know many people, all
my family's living here, and in Londrina has a lot of commerce, brands and companies, and has
almost 600 thousand inhabitants.

Love art, culture, I really like to write, I write texts for school and for me, I can express when I
write, I like music, playing ukulele, play volleyball, paint, draw, I admire pictures, arts,
performances, poem, books.

I lived in Foz do Iguaçu, because of my mom’s work and we stayed there for 5 years, and after
we returned to Londrina. Foz do Iguaçu borders Argentina and Paraguay, and these are the only
countries that I have ever been to. Also, I really wanna visit new places, and other countries,
and experience different things.

I like almost every food, to tell the truth there are only specific types that I don’t like, such as
bittersweet food, too wet food, and also chayote.

I don't like when people are rude with me, rudeness with no motives, unclear explanations, I
like deep relations, natural, with confidence. I don't like spiders.

I consider myself as a comprehensive person, reliable, loyal, funny, deep, adaptable, creative,
smart. I really focus but sometimes I procrastinate too. I need time to think and reflect, my
social battery ends fast, and I don't like to lose my patience arguing with people.
I always liked the biological areas, how physiological functions work, I always wanted to be a
vet. I really like helping animals. I help in an NGO named ‘’sos animais’’ that saves abandoned
and animals in need, my dad worked there for 8 years in a voluntary mode. Until today, if we
find an animal needing help, we take care and we find a house for it. I like health areas too,
such as medicine.

I would like to take this exchange because I have a big interest in getting to know new places,
cultures, and opportunities. Growing and learning with people about their costumes, and
showing how I live in my home country, taking my culture and bringing the culture that I was
back in and I was part of it, mixing all the ideas.

We only can say about the culture of a country, living their costumes and their daily life that
we learn with them, by the way, I learned this with my sociology professor. Going to live abroad
is not about tourism.
