What is a hobby?

It is what you can and like to do, when you have free
time.We choose a hobby acording to our character and tastes. When
we have a hobby, our life becomes more interesting. Very often our
hobby helps us to choose our fature profession because we lern a lot of
new things.A hobby is a favorite pastime of a person. Hobbies differ like
tastes. Hobbies are devided into for large classes: doing things, making
things, collecting things and learning things.

Hobby is usually defined as an interesting occupation for leisure time,

not one’s regular bussines. Every person has a favourite occupation,
something that he is really interested in, something that let him express
himself.
All people have different talents. Making things includes drawing,
painting and desinging costumes. I like to draw more than anything else
in the world. Sometimes, I think I was already born with the desire to
depict the environment around me on paper or canvas.. When I was 6
years old, my parents took me to an art school. It was required to draw
a clown on entrance examination. I'm tried so much to make my picture
perfect, that I did not have time to finish my drawing in time, and I was
not admitted. My disillusionment was boundless, and mom and dad,
having tried all attempts to calm me down and engage me in different
sorts of things, decиided to register me in an artistic hobby group
affiliated with our district Creative House. I immediately liked it a lot,
and therefore, I continue to take classes in the studio so far. Now many
people have an idea about various techniques of drawing using pencil,
paints or pastels. I'm good at depicting landscapes, architectural objects
and animals, but most of all I like to draw portraits. I think, it is a real
art to be able to convey not only the likeness, but also to portray
human emotions on paper. Drawing classes cheer me up, this hobby
also helps me to see the simple beauty of the world that sometimes
people don't even notice. I hope very much that in the future I will be
able to continue studying this beautiful art and create a lot of
interesting and original paintings.
One of my favorite hobbies is reading books, because it devolop us
spiritually . At the moment, they say that TV or the Internet can replace
books. But is this so? Although on the internet you can find a lot of
useful information, but also it can be false and untruthful. Reading
books is a great sovrce of knowledge and pleasure. Some adolescents
ad even adults think that reading books only supplement their
knowladge and vocabulare,although this is useful, but I their opinion
reading is like a rest,it’s like watching a movie only here you can show
your imagination. While reading i imagine what he characters look like
their voice, behavoir. Some people think reading is bored or just a
waste of time. But I am sure that reading books a person becomeds
educated, smarter. With people who read a lot of, you can versation.
My favorite books are all parts of Hurry Potter, the books of
StephensKing? The «Home of strange children»,and various books
biogrphies of famous personalities.

You can reade-books, because at the moment deforastion is one of the

main problems in the world. The book is our best friend! Books shouid
be given more free time, because it is interesting.
Tastes differ. Different people like different things, different people like
differeny hobbies. As for me, my hobby is collecting stamps. The
collecting and study of stamps is know as phitalety. It is often called the
king of hobbies and the hobby of kings. It is a hobby that both young
and old can do and enjoy. The stamp hobby can be enjoyed on any
budget- or no budget at all. My father begun to collect stamps when he
was 15. In my childhood be watched albums with the stamps and I
became interested in this hobby too. Each stamp has a story about
different countries and people. My father and I collect stamps with
topical animals, birds, cars and so on. Stamps maybe square, triangular
or circular. Stamps are also very colorful. I find philately is an exciting
hobby. Collecting stamps keeps your mind active, increases your
knowledge of places and events and offers social opportunities.
Although the Internet and smartphones have revolutionized
communication with their speed but letters still remain their charm
and else. Writing a letter, the good old fashioned way, is always a
pleasure.
Hobby is an activity that you like doing. Unfortunately, nowadays a lot
of people don’t have hobbies for different reasons. We work too much
time in offices and traffic jams. But even in our past paced world is very
important to find time for things you like as they give you relaxation
and positive emotions. Many people agree that hobbies make our lives
bright and interesting. It is really cool to do what you want to do, to
createve something that other people can admire.

Having a hobby is really an important thing, because it makes your

relax, you get to know something new, and finally you are in peace with
yourself and the whole world, and it seems moreand more important in
our constantly changing fussy world.
