Do you like sweeties?
Yes, I love sweeties very much. I usually spend my free time eating candies, and
they make me happier when I’m sad.
Do you like sweeties compared with you were a child?
I think that in my childhood, I loved candies more than currently because now, I’m
maturer in my thinking. So, I will choose healthy food instead of sweeties.
Have you ever tried to make sweeties?
No, I don’t have experience with making sweeties basically, because I haven’t
thought about it before. I only receive candies from my friends, my relatives, or
buying them by myself and eat them.
Why people like sweeties?
In my opinion, the reason is eating sweeties can bring happiness to people as I’ve
said about me before. Sugar and sweet of candies can make people feel comfortable
and good-tampered, especially after their sad stories. Moreover, sweeties are quickly
choosing but still full of sentiment gifts for someone who wants to present their
partners.

2. Cake
Do you like dessert?
Definitely yes, I love eating dessert. After lunch or dinner, my family and I usually
eat fruits or cakes for dessert.
Do you like eating cakes?
Of course, I like eating cakes. They are one of my favorite food. I’m the type of
person who takes an interest in sweet food. Sometimes, thanks to cakes, I feel more
comfortable and happier after sad stories.
Have you ever made cakes?
Although usually eating cakes, I haven’t thought about making them before. I don’t
have experience with making cakes now. However, if I have a chance and free time,
I will try to learn how to bake.
Special cake in your country?
Have you ever been heard about Chung cake? It is a kind of rice cake which is often
eaten on special occasions like Tet Holiday. Chung cake includes meat, green bean,
sticky rice together with some other spices. Vietnamese suppose it as a symbol of
Lunar New Year.
3. Laugh
Do you like to watch movies or TV shows that make people laugh?
Yeah, I’m interested in funny movies and TV Shows. I can watch them all the time
without feeling bored. They’re very helpful to me after my school time or hard
work.
Do you usually make your friends laugh?
No, it’s regularly hard for me to make my friends laugh because they’re funnier than
me. However, I always try to become a humor friend of them because I only want
the air between us is warm and friendly.
Are you the kind of person who makes people laugh?
So, I’m not a sense of humor person. I regularly rather than find happiness from
each other. However, sometimes I can bring a laugh to my relatives or my friends
through my stories about my memorable experiences that I’ve passed.
4. Languages
What languages can you speak?
I can speak both Vietnamese and English because Vietnamese is my mother tongue
and English is a foreign language that I’m studying.
Do you think it’s difficult to learn a new language?
I completely agree with this. It’s hard to learn a new language. People will have to
sacrifice their time and effort or their money for that language. Even though, they
must also mentally prepare for all new things.
Will you learn other languages in the future?
I think I won’t because language is only a tool for communication. For me, one
international language is enough. I have many new and important things to discover
outside instead of taking a seat and burying my head into language books and
dictionaries. It only makes me more tired.
5. Social Network
How often do you use social networking applications?
I almost spend all of my free time using them. I regularly check notifications and
news on Facebook or my messages in Messenger. Besides, I also play games on
game apps.
Why do you use social networking apps?
I use networking apps for many purposes. Thanks to them, I can study with great
ease. Every subject that I’m learning at school like Math, History, English,
Literature can be solved. I also entertain myself by games online, music or reading
news on newspaper electronic to update my knowledge.
What are the disadvantages of social networking apps?
First, I think that they take us too much time. If we use them regularly without
rested for entertainment, we will don’t have enough time for other works. Therefore,
it affects our job performance negatively. Second, some social networking apps are
not safe if people use them carelessly; they will steal our data, personal information.
That’s why we must choose apps intelligently.
Do you think it is good to make friends online?
I absolutely agree with you. Making friends online in some ways benefits us. We
can easily chat and talk online with each other without fear of the distance.
Additionally, some things are difficult to say when we meet face to face but are easy
to tell when chatting online. Therefore, it is easier for making friends online instead
of meeting traditionally.
6. Tea or coffee
Do Vietnamese people like to drink tea or coffee?
I think almost Vietnamese people see drinking tea or coffee as their favorite and
habit because both tea and coffee are popular trees in Vietnam. They can be drinks
for relaxing, entertainment or even Vietnamese breakfast.
Do you prepare tea for the guests at home?
Absolutely yes, my family usually makes a teapot when guests visit us. However, I
think almost Vietnamese regularly do that because it is an excellent traditional
culture. It shows the ethical behavior of the host owner and how they appreciate
their guests.
When was the last time you drank tea or coffee?
It was last Sunday when I was free and felt so bored. Then I called my old friend
and dropped him out with me to drink coffee in a simple café. I met him, and I
ordered a cup of milk coffee, but he called a black one. I was amazed, and I thought
that he had been mature. We talked about school stories, our life, and rich
experiences. I was pleased, and I hope that our friendship will last forever.
7. Being alone (Spending time by yourself)
Do you like to be alone?
I almost agree with your question. I am a quiet person. Therefore, sometimes I only
want to be alone and think about myself or reading books, listening to music or do
whatever I like… And being alone often useful for me. It makes me concentrate on
my works. I love alone time.
What was the last time when you were alone and what did you do then?
It was last Saturday when I came home after my extra class. Closing the door, I
choose a novel and read it alone together with listening to music. In an hour and
only myself, I read nearly half of the book. I was very proud of myself. It shows that
if people have their private space and free time, they can concentrate on their works
maximumly and create certain effects.
What do you always do when you are alone?
As I’ve told you before about my experiences, all of them are my habit when I’m
alone. Besides, I draw a picture or play the computer. They are both effective for
me. I don’t think more about sad things, or something makes me tired and they
make me feel better.
8. Smile
Do you like to smile?
Yes, I very love smiling. I can smile at ease when I meet surprise and funny things,
laugh stories in everywhere, everytime when I at home or at school. Even during
school time as long as there is thing make me smile, so I will smile.
When do people smile at others?
I think it depends on the situations. Regularly, people smile at others when they
discover funny things or encourage each other after sad experiences and even when
both of them think and tell their partners good memories.
Do you smile when people take pictures of you?
Well, I’m not a such confident guy when I know that there’s someone take pictures
of me. I often display how shy I am but I will try to be the most nature of myself to
make the most beautiful pictures.
Can you recognise a fake smile?
Oh, I think I can know a fake smile because sometimes I understand people’s
feeling and their face impression. Besides so it also bases on the situations make
they smile fakely. They can be when I know that they hate me or when there is a
stressful thing happens and a fake smile help them to reduce the level of the story.
