Friends

1. Yes. Since I am a social butterfly, I made a lot of friends


throughout my school and college years.
2. When I was younger, I used to meet my friends almost every
day. But now, I meet my closest friends only on weekends.
3. My closest friends and I have a mutual interest in shopping for
clothes. So whenever we have time, we will go shopping
together until we break the bank. Sometimes when we are out of
money, just window shopping would be enough.
4. I make friends with the like minded people and I like those with
an optimistic attitude.

Shopping
1. I usually shop at the mall and I like to buy a lot of things like
clothes, personal items, shoes,…
2. Yes, I’m a fan. Online shopping is wonderful. It’s so convenient
because I can lie on my bed and shop with my phone. I usually
buy book, novel and candy,…
3. I prefer to spend money but to be honest, I do window shopping
most of the time because I cannot afford all of those snazzy
products.
4. I like shopping because it makes me feel good and relaxed.
5. What I don't like about shopping would probably be long lines
and noisy crowds. The most annoying is that when I fall
completely in love with an item but then find out it is not sold in
my size or completely sold out.

Hobbies
1. Definitely yes, everyone has at least one leisure pursuit and I am
no exception. My perennial hobby is watching movies.
2. Actually it’s hard to find out an exact answer, however I think
reading books and playing badminton are the things that people
are interested in most. You can see there are a lot of people who
are engrossed in the books in café or buses. Moreover,
badminton is held up as a competition in every corner of our
country, from villages to the pavements in the big cities.
3. Yes, of course. From my point of view, having a hobby can help
people to relax after hard-working time.
4. Yes, I think so. For example, I am a student. If I spend much
time going for a walk, I would not have enough time to finish
my assignments at school.
5. Well, If I have more spare time in the future, I will embark upon
playing a musical instrument such as violin, guitar, or piano
because these activities make me happier and release my stress
from busy work schedule.

Sports
1. The sports I play are volleyball, badminton.

I play volleyball and badminton for me to be physically


active,fit and healthy as playing this kinds of sports make our body
move and can exercise our body.

2. I don't like skydiving because I'm afraid of heights and it's quite
dangerous.

3. Well, I guess in Vietnam right now, it’s football. I think football


is considered the king of sports. It’s very easy to play. And I think it’s
a competitive sport, it can be very enjoyable to watch and play.
4. I would like to learn football which is so-called the king of
sports. I really love learning it because of the drama and surprise in
each match.

5. I don't want to try extreme sports because it's dangerous and it's
not suitable for someone like me.

Families
1. I have a small family with 3 members including father, mother
and younger brother.

2. I live with my family and spend most of my time with them


except for the time when I do have classes to attend. On average, I
spend 2-3 hours with my family members on a typical day and that's
excluding the sleeping hours.

3. I like to discuss my plans with my parents. I often seek their


advice on important personal issues.

4. Well, I can say that, yes, our family is a typical one. A family,
who stays by each other through good times and bad times.

Travelling
1. Of course, you know, it’s a great way to relax and relieve stress.
Usually, I go on a trip on national holidays when I have lots of
time on my hand.
2. I would like to visit Nha Trang and also Ho Chi Minh City.
These are my most favourite and desired destinations because of
their scenic beauty and also the people who are very generous
and sweet.
3. Whenever I visit a place the first thing I do is search about the
history or past of that place, then record the experiences I get
there. I write about what I did, what I liked etc. I just jot down in
my travel diary so that whenever I open and read it I can relive
those memories.
4. Travelling alone will be my choice, compared to travelling in a
group, It’s comfier. I like doing whatever I want without asking
for the agreement of other people while travelling.
5. I haven’t travelled abroad yet. First I want to tour all places
within my country.
