Report Text adalah teks yang bertujuan menyampaikan informasi dengan mendeskripsikan sesuatu secara umum,
yang meliputi berbagai hal/dan fenomena alam dan sosial yang terjadi di sekitar kita. Report Text berisi serangkaian
fakta yang logis dan bersifat objektif, tanpa ada keterlibatan pribadi (pendapat pribadi) penulis.

National Jamboree is my unforgettable experience. I joined the Tenth National Jamboree in 2016 when i was in the
seventh grade. After i passed the scouting test in the Regency Council, I started the trainning for about four months.
There were also several other students from other schools who passed the test.
The jamboree was held in Bumi Perkemahan Cibubur, in August,2021. My Friends, scoutmasters and i went there a
week before the jamboree started. The scoutmasters said that it was necessary to adapt to the environment. There
were several other patrols that came from other regencies. They had come several days before us.
The participatans came from almost all regencies in indonesia. There, we met and knew people from other regencies
or provinces in indonesia. There was an activity to present the culture of each regency. This activity was like a
parade. We learned many cultures and felt in love with indonesia even more.
The theme of the jamboree was ‘ Gembira, Keren, Asyik’. That was perfectly reflected on the activities because i felt
so. There, we also learned important knowledge and life skills, such as friendship, destinations, such as Lubang
Buaya Museum, Monumen Nasional ( Monas ) and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah ( TMII ).

Paddlefish is the common name for the ray-finned fish. It is characterised by an elongated, paddle-like snout with
minute barbels, a large mouth with minute teeth and along gill rakers.
There are only two modern species of these fish, i.e. the plankton-feeding American paddlefish ( Polyodon spathula )
and the piscovorous Chienese paddlefish (Psephurus gladius).
Paddlefish are not closely related to sharks. However, they have several body parts that resemble those of sharks such
as their skeletons and deeply forked heterocercal tail fins.
Paddlefish provide important economic, ecological and aesthetic values. During the last century, paddlefish and
sturgeon have been commercially exploited for their eggs (roe) called caviar. Paddlefish and sturgeon are two of the
most important fish for freshwater caviar. Their unique shapes and large sizes also add to the joy of nature for
humans, including sport fishing. However, exploitation and habitat changes, among other factors, have significantly
reduced the population of paddlefish.

Recount Text terdiri atas 3 bagian, yakni Orientation, Series of Event, dan Reorientation. Kita bahas satu
per satu, ya!

Last holiday my students and I went to Jogjakarta. We stayed at Morison Hotel which is not a long way
from Malioboro. On Friday, we went to the sanctuaries in Prambanan. There are three major sanctuaries,
the Brahmana, Syiwa and Wisnu sanctuaries. They are truly stunning. We went by just Brahmana and
Syiwa sanctuaries, on the grounds that Wisnu sanctuary is being remodeled. On Saturday morning we
went to Yogya Kraton. We spent around two hours there. We were fortunate on the grounds that we were
driven by a brilliant and amicable aide. At that point we proceeded with our adventure to Borobudur. We
touched base there at four p.m. At 6 p.m. we heard the declaration that Borobudur entryway would be
closed. In the evening we left Jogjakarta by bus.

Struktur Job Application Letter

Struktur job application letter hampir sama dengan cover letter, yang terdiri dari:

1. Opening

 Applicant information, yaitu informasi dasar pengirim surat. Isinya berupa nama lengkap, kontak,
dan alamat.
 Date, yakni tanggal berapa nulis surat.
 Recipient information, yaitu informasi mengenai penerima surat. Isinya berupa nama penerima,
posisinya di perusahaan, nama perusahaan, alamat perusahaan, dan kontak perusahaan.
 Greetings, yakni berupa salam kepada penerima surat. Bisa menyapa dengan “Dear, Ms…”

2. Body

 Introduction. Isi dengan nama lengkap, posisi saat ini sebagai apa (fresh graduate atau kerja),
posisi apa yang dilamar, dan dari mana mendapat info loker tersebut.
 Self promotion. Saatnya mempromosikan diri sebagai kandidat yang cocok buat posisi tersebut.
Bagian ini terdiri dari:
o Skills. Sebutin apa aja kemampuan yang punya selama bekerja atau berorganisasi.
o Achievements. Tulis pencapaian yang pernah diraih, tapi nggak usah muluk-muluk. Cukup
ceritain rintangan yang pernah dihadapi di organisasi atau pekerjaan sebelumnya, dan
bagaimana mengatasinya. Tulis juga paling doing the best dalam hal apa.
o Experience. Tulis pengalaman kerja atau organisasi yang pernah dijalani sebelumnya.
o Value to the company. Jabarin apa yang bisa kasih ke perusahaan buat mencapai tujuan.
Poin ini bisa bikin perusahaan tertarik sama lamaran kerja.
 Conclusion. Pada bagian ini, tulis kesimpulan dari apa yang diinginkan dari penulisan job
application letter tersebut. Conclusion terdiri dari:
o Expectations. Tutup surat dengan mengatakan ekspektasi pada perusahaan yang
dilamar. Berharap agar dikontak balik buat lanjut tahap selanjutnya.
o Willingness to work. Tunjukkan kemauan buat berdedikasi di perusahaan tersebut.
 Closing. Ini jadi bagian paling bawah dalam surat. Dalam closing, elo perlu ngasih:
o Sign off. Bisa nulis “Sincerely,” atau “Yours sincerely”.
o Signature. Tulis tanda tangan di bawah sign off. Setelah itu, tulis nama terang di bawah
tanda tangan.
o Attachments. Setelah semua yang gue tulis di atas beres,
lampirkan CV melalui attachments buat dikirim ke perusahaan.
