SUMMER VACATION HOMEWORK 2022

GRADE -

1
Dear Parent(s)

Greetings!

“What we do during our working hours determines what we have; what we do in our leisure hours
determines what we are.”

Summer Vacation is a time for the children to enjoy and relax along with utilize it to cover

up their shortcomings. These days are precious and invaluable and can be made most from

if judiciously used. It’s time to nurture young minds, inculcate moral values and narrate

family anecdotes to keep them in touch with their roots.

Few tips to engage your children during the vacation fruitfully:

• ƒ Encourage your child to take up swimming, yoga, walking or any other form of healthy
activity during the vacation.
• Involve your child in some kind of ‘Community Service’.
• ƒ Involve children in household chores.
• ƒ Ask your child to maintain a holidays diary, to take photograph of special days and
write about them.
• ƒ Spend quality time with your child, go for nature walks and share your experiences
with him/her

Summer Break:‐ 23rd May 2022 to 5th July 2022. School will reopen on 6th July 2022.

Dear Students

Greetings!

Summer vacation is a time when we play, enjoy waking up late, going out somewhere to spend
some days, shopping and have loads of fun with our friends and family. Many of us just end up
being lazy in vacations because sleeping, chatting, eating and talking are mostly the only
hobbies that we do to enjoy.

On the other hand, we try to forget tonnes of school homework that we've got to do during the
holidays! And finally when the school is about to reopen, we are in a fix and rush to complete all
the homework on time.

Here are a few tips that can help out

• Try to spare two hours daily or on alternate days to do your homework.

• To keep the school homework interesting, give yourself some little tasks.
• Study effectively. As you are giving only a little time to your studies, so you should study
during those hours when you are in an active frame of mind.
• Studying consecutive for two hours can be a little boring for some of you. So take little
breaks while reading or writing. You can do whatever you like in short breaks -- listen to
your favourite song, watch something for a brief moment on TV or even have a chat with
your siblings and then start with your homework again.
• Plan with your friends or cousins. Organise a day for combine study, share your
homework, discuss important topics and guide each other.
• In case, you have to go somewhere with your family to spend a good part of the holidays,
set a date to finish your homework beforehand so that you don't have to worry about it
later.
