INTRODUCTION

Inception Wave is a student driven tech organization aims to deliver quality rich products and
bring like-minded individuals together to achieve common goals.

The organization helps these individuals by bridging the gap between industry standards and
the vibrant youth communities having similar interests and collaborating with industry
experts to effectively enhance an efficient work aesthetic.

Inception Wave has a significant presence across the country and continues to inspire a
culture for an innovative tomorrow.

Our company present an opportunity to students to step out of the conventional curriculum,
and be part of a non-scholastic path infused with innovation, personal betterment and inner
growth. These students of different backgrounds and colleges collaborate and result in a
dynamic and flexible team. These teams independently work on planning, development,
execution and management of events, projects and self-sustaining community spaces.

Inception wave, a tech-enabled company, often identifies itself as a startup that combines the
entrepreneurial innovation driven mindset of a vibrant youth community with the colossal
upsides and tremendous convenience that comes with collaboration and connection. I learned
various things as well in this company like Web development, Application development and
Marketing. We learned here that how to manage things, time management and many more. I
hope now I can work as a good team member in any company.

Ever since Inception Wave began in 2020, our team has undertaken several projects with a
global social impact, all of which reflect our team’s qualities and expertise in the tech
industry, while keeping the objectives of satisfying client requirements and incorporating
them clear in our minds.

Objective:

The objective of this research is to enhance the usage of social media in the benefit of college
students and similar communities, connect them likeminded individuals and providing a
platform where they can contribute and learn from others at the same time. The research
examines usage of social media platforms, illustrating how people use particular social media
platforms and how a better platform can help them in approaching their “project partners” or
“team mates”. Each platform provides various features and differs in terms of functioning to
some extent. Therefore a suitable platform is required that aims at connecting people that
helps in enhancing the skills and adding benefits in terms of career and knowledge
acquisition.

Grapido is a platform to serve individuals seeking best events and connections in an organic
ecosphere of boundless projects and it plunges you headward into a delightful, active and
energetic nexus of like-minded people that enables you to increase your professional reach

Good data allows organizations to establish baselines, benchmarks, and goals to keep moving
forward. This data allows them to measure and thus constantly keep improving. However,
leak of important data to the wrong hands can create harm just as easily. JahnaviNandanwar,
a third year BTech student at DTU writes about the Human Identities and how it has taken
control over the technical aspect of the world in the form of data along with the cognizance of
the prevention of threats encountered during its protection. In addition to this, an emerging
technique known as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is mentioned as a process to terminate data
leakage in current and upcoming years of data usage. Read along to understand the role of
human beings as technologies.

In the past recent years, with the increase in the technologies surrounding different sectors of
the industry including Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Forensics, Data Science,
Automation and Robotics etc. there has been a significant increase in the upraise of human
activities on the online platforms as to create a major social impact. For these social

outbreaks we all sign up and register on a variety of websites which keep a track of all our
data and monitor our progress.

These social platforms encourage more and more people to join on a single day basis. They
have a major influence on gaining the heuristics of our lives and our human identities are
perceived as the collections of information in the form of data. The data stored can affect our
identity and directly impact most of us beyond the scope of our imagination. Now, identity
has become the key element of all human activities. Whether it is shopping in a mall or
booking a doctor appointment or even social connecting platforms such as Facebook,
Instagram or twitter, etc. everyone has the exposure to risk their identities.

With the growing online popularity, there are threats to our identity which involve hacking
and human errors along with the natural loss of mental health and deteriorating delirium of
the mind. Exaggeratingly, technologies help us use multiple identities for different context of
the work which are prone to various human errors. We often mix up certain details which
further are the cause for inconveniences leaving us feel insecure and helpless.

These breaches often conquer big data companies along with the personal defacement. There
are predictions that in the next 20 years or so almost half the world would be a victim of data
breach.

Some of the major drawbacks that could be seen as damage to the health
and property are:

Financial Loss

With the large amount of data comes the maintenance handy. But with the loss comes vast
amounts of money at risk. The money that was spent in protecting the system was all in vain
since the development of a new system would have to start afresh. Besides, the financials of
other data which depended on the breached data would also require a recovery.

Loss of Reputation

One of the most reported issues of the companies facing data losses is the loss of trust from
more than 60 percent of their customers. Lost confidence, negative press, company identity
damage and negative reviews could be a lot to handle or may be even unrecoverable once the
talks spread in the market.

Operational Disruptions

As mentioned earlier, from the moment the data is compromised the chances of those
companies to flourish as earlier are very less likely. The lawsuit filed may take several years
and they may be asked to completely shut down for the time being which is definitely spun-
out. It has been recorded that almost around 60% of the consumers leave within the first 6
months of inactivity.

Marketing strategies:

1. Stick to a Product-Focused Content Calendar

• As noted in our guide to social commerce, product-related posts are among the most

• Although as a brand we want to avoid spamming our followers, but we also should not be
shy about showing off our products.

Social networking platforms have marked great milestones in the field of learning and
interactivity. Younger generations using digital mediums use social media platforms to
exchange their thoughts, knowledge and feelings. Hence by doing these, educational
landscape is highly influenced. Around 6

hours. Students are learning and adapting to use of new technologies and enhancing their
skills, therefore, experiencing the life through more than just assignments and textbooks.

Growth and Opportunity:

Inception Wave has a large presence across the country. The projects executed by Inception
Wave as an organization already have more than 3000 downloads on the Google Play Store.
A group of around 5000 talented knowledge holders are working effectively in more than 40
communities maintaining the quantity as well as the quality of the projects. The internship
programs spread throughout have a very efficacious response in various domains of
marketing, content writing, HR and graphic designs with an exaggerated number of 2500 and
growing.

Facebook is the wider used social media application founded by Mark Zuckerberg. This is

the application which has maximum users and most popular site. Users can find their own

interest people and connect them, chats with them. Users were known about the events

occurred by the organization which they had followed and liked. But on the other side, any

fake news may occurred in Facebook by any organization but it is restricted in our-
application.

Twitter

Twitter is the social networking application on which chats with different people can be

performed and users can connect each other. They were discussed in groups and share their

ideas. But in the same manner it was not restricted with the fake news by any people or

community but Grapido restricts it. Any business idea can be reached to every people who

make their profile on it. It helps them to share the ideas with other people and share their

ideas with other people but this application makes a group of same skilled people and shares

their ideas with their surroundings skilled people.

This application is nowadays a wider used in these times. With the help of this application

user can connect with various people according to their interest. But it also contains some

fake news which is inappropriate for the users but Grapido application inhibits this feature

and provide the user to learn best out of best technology

This is one of the biggest social media applications used by the users. This is totally used for

the official purposes and connected many people from various places and of different skills.

Any domain people can connect through it and also fresh minds share their ideas and

thoughts in front of the company officials and chances to get the job. This all would increase

Employers most frequently used LinkedIn over Facebook and Twitter in the hiring process
for their industry. LinkedIn is ranked the 22nd among most visited website in the world by

There are people in this world that are simply difficult. I have learned that stressing over little
things will not get me anywhere. I have learned to work well as a team and that without my
counterparts the work would not get done. Another aspect that I learned throughout my
internship. is to never be afraid to ask lots of questions. By asking questions I got answers.

I think that an internship is extremely valuable to a student. It is a small taste of the real
world. It helped reinforce my knowledge of responsibility, focus, drive and ambition. I
learned focus. I learned drive during really long days of events. I got tired but didn’t give up.

After having completed this internship. I now feel ready and excited to pursue my career.
Before I began my internship. I knew that I had a good knowledge of what a public relations
practitioner should know and do, but I didn’t know if I could put that education to work.

Delhi Technological University was established as Delhi Polytechnic in 1941 and


transitioned to Delhi College of Engineering in 1965, before being declared a State

driven enterprise of DTU which started with a vision to provide a platform for like-

NPOs and Social Organisations to create a tangible social impact by developing

Size of the company(turnover)

The Start-up incorporated between April 1, 2016, till 31st March 2021 were eligible
for this scheme. Budget 2021 has extended the eligibility to 31st March 2022. Such
start-up will be eligible for getting 100% tax rebate on profit for a period of three
years in a block of seven years provided that annual turnover does not exceed Rs.25
crores in any financial year. This will help the start-up to meet their working capital
requirements during their initial years of operation.

users will leave the platform and visit that particular website.

Computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, even internet enabled televisions mean people can

technologies. With the help of these features. it is possible to achieve integration and
effectiveness of the software. According to these authors, the Social-media is the way
to provide the motivation to participate the college students to help them to make
projects, develop new ideas in the IT industry and supports the nation to be
developed. Students also aware about new technologies and researches which will
help them in future. It encourages the student’s participation in the educational field.
There were many hypotheses on this topic. The first was the use of the social media
application by the people towards their education field. The results shows the positive
attitude towards the use of the social networking sites in their education field and
therefore thus hypothesis was highly supportive. On the other hand, it was found that
students mostly used the social application websites for their work and for their
interaction. Teachers also connect the students through these sites and perform their
work to provide knowledge and thus this hypothesis 2 was also supportive. The
attitude of the people towards social sites was positive and eager intention to use it.

them and thus this hypothesis was also supportive. So we can conclude that fresh
minds use the social media application very frequently.

unprofessional aspect.

things will not get me anywhere. I have learned to work well as a team and that without my
counterparts the work would not get done. Another aspect that I learned throughout my
internship is to never be afraid to ask lots of questions. By asking questions I got answers.

I think that an internship is extremely valuable to a student. It is a small taste of the real
world. It helped reinforce my knowledge of responsibility, focus, drive and ambition. I
learned focus. I learned drive during really long days of events. I got tired but didn’t give up.

After having completed this internship. I now feel ready and excited to pursue my career.
Before I began my internship. I knew that I had a good knowledge of what a public relations
practitioner should know and do, but I didn’t know if I could put that education to work.

Value addition

In this research enables the students to use social media with more purpose to create effective
strategy in order to engage themselves. With the growth of mobile application and social
interaction, students can connect themselves with like - minded individuals around them to
achieve common goals. They can showcase their talent and learn from others at the same
time. Hence, helping students to grow and develop their skills.

This organisation in hiring quality employees through improvements in employment
branding, sourcing candidates, screening and selecting top candidates, and processing them
through the hiring process.

Optimization of the employees’ performance by creating an environment where people


perform to the best of their abilities to produce the highest-quality work most efficiently and
effectively.

In total there were 9 tasks and I completed 7. All 7 tasks which I performed I would like to
tell you about them-

· To study about atleast 5 start up companies that have grown during this pandemic.

· To study about why the festive season is important for business.

· We have to interact with different people regarding inception wave basically to make
this company more popular.

· Then to famous their product grapido, it was really a fun task.

· Then making a presentation on Inception wave and Grapido. It was a team work.

· An online session in which there were quiz and games round.

· It was to compare Linkedin and Grapido.

Suggestions and
Recommendations

Linked Social Media Accounts – Since Inception wave actually owns Grapido, it does not
come as a surprise these two social media apps are tightly intertwined.

Phone Contacts – Grapido will also use your phone’s contacts to make friend suggestions for
users. When we link our contacts to the Grapido account, our contacts who have linked

Instagram will suggest them as potential people for us to follow. Even if you don’t have that
user in your contacts, they may have in our contacts.

Search History – If we searched for someone on Grapido recently and spent time looking at
their profile without following them, they will appear as a suggestion later on. The algorithm
also takes into account time spent on their profile, pictures linked, and other factors here.

Hashtag Use – If we use many of the same hashtags as someone else in your posts, and those
hashtags are niche enough, it’s likely that they will show up in our suggested friend’s list.

Mutual Friends – Grapido often suggests us follow people with who you have many mutual
friends. The more mutual friends we have with a person, the more likely they will appear in
your list of suggested friends
