Question:

1. As Canada’s prime minister, how would you respond to what

you believe is the most important issue about the country today?
Explain the issue and give appropriate measures to solve it. (150 -
200 words)

I know everybody would say COVID is the number 1 problem here in Canada
but I will be focusing the issue regarding “Drug Addiction”. If I am running this
country as a prime minister there is a few ways how to solve and mitigate this
problem.

1. Increase the budget and manpower on the boarders- this will lessen or
pretty much prevents the in and outs of drugs through the boarder,
having a more manpower to look after the border and state of the art
equipment to detect drugs will surely makes a big difference.

2. Bigger and better rehab facility- this will accommodate more drug users
on the streets and have a better treatment on them. Streets will be
safer this way.

3. Give a drug pushers an option- if drug pushers surrenders himself to

the authority I would give them a budget to either have them selves
treated on rehab, money to go back to school or a small amount to put
up a business to start a new life. However just in case they got caught
again I would put them back in jail for a long time and have them repay
all the amount that was given to them.

This is pretty much what our president back home did to our country when he
got elected which most of us admire. There are still a lot of ways to manage
this problem but ill start on these 3 solutions for now as a leader of this
country.
