Traveling to new teaching

Monday, 18-11-2019
At 9:15 we met at Febo Moniz school
to go to the airport because we had
the flight scheduled for 13:25.
When we arrived in Brussels
we went by taxi to Mechelen.
We checked in and then we
had dinner. We returned to
the hotel to prepare our
presentation for the next day.
Tuesday, 19-11-2019
At 7:45 we were had breakfast at the hotel with the
other partners of the
project (Norway and
Romania).
At 8:12 we took the bus
to school. At school we
were greeted by the
Belgian team and we
presented our school, projects and our city.
Afterwards we met the school through an
interactive game prepared by the Belgian team.
At lunch time we had some sandwiches that were
made by the students of the Belgian school.
In the afternoon we worked in different workshops.
I attended the "shop assistant"
workshop. A few students and I went
to a store to work. We also had to
put products in the right place.
At 15:30 we took the bus to the
hotel. Then we discovered the hotel
surroundings.
We went to dinner and got back to the hotel.
Wednesday, 20-11-2019

At 7:30 we had breakfast with the

other teams. We left the hotel to catch
the bus at 8:12 to go to school. We
arrived at school and started working
on our workshops. My task was to cook
a heathy breakfast. I learned about
healthy eating habits. After cooking we
ate our cooked meal and then we
cleaned the kitchen.
We went to the restaurant and
tasted some typical local food. At
13:30 we played an interactive
game to discover the city. Then we
had the rest of the afternoon free
to wander around the city. We
stopped for dinner at a restaurant.
Tuesday, 21-11-2019
We had breakfast at 7:20. At
school we had a cooking class.
We made pancakes, meat
balls, apple sauce, cherry
sauce and a soup. Then we
lunched what we cooked.
In the afternoon we did the last
workshop of the week. I played
badminton. Then we had dinner
and returned to the hotel.

Friday, 22-11-2019
As it was the last day we had breakfast
a bit later (9:30). We checked out at
10:15. Then we went to Brussels
Airport.
Our flight was at 14:00 (Belgium time)
but only arrived in Portugal at 17:00 (Portugal time)
because there was a delay. We took the
underground from the airport the train station. We
came to Santarém by train.
