ESSAY
1. Content-Based Instruction (CBI) refers to an approach to second language teaching in which
teaching is organized around the content or information that students will acquire, rather than
around a linguistic or other type of syllabus whereas communicative approach is an approach
for second and foreign language teaching which mainly focuses on developing communicative
competence. This approach emphasizes the use of language for meaningful purposes in
authentic situation.

2. A spiral curriculum can be defined as a course of study in which students will see the same
topics throughout their school career, with each encounter increasing in complexity and
reinforcing previous learning. A spiraling curriculum encourages reinforcement of previously-
learned concepts, which promotes the retention of skills in later grades.
It needs because it reinforced information’s and solidified each time the student revisits the
subject matter. The spiral curriculum also allows a logical progression from simplistic ideas to
complicated ideas.

3. The Oral Way and Learning by Doing.


Learning by doing is a hands-on approach to learning, meaning students must interact with
their environment in order to adapt and learn. And the oral way of learning is important which
we use spoken words to express knowledge, ideas, and feelings.
