The remote transmitter use manual

Operating Directions
a. Insert 3 "AAA" batteries in the indoor receiver (FIRST). After "powering up" the receiver, it will search for a remote
temperature signal for 3 minutes. You should Insert 2 "AA" batteries in the remote transmitter, and then the remote
temperature will appea r on the receiver within the 3 minutes.
b. Please note that even though the receiver and the remote transmitter are close enoug h at this point, the temperatures
may not show exactly. Due to electronic tolerances, it could take up to 48 hours for them to come within 1°C (2°F).
You may relocate the remote transmitter at any time.
c. Press and hold the " "' '' button for 3 seconds . A small antennae icon will fl ash beside the CH box. This indicates the
unit is searching for any remote transmitters . Within three minutes, the remote temperatures will appear. If you want
to receive the temperature and hum idity fast, you can press the TX button of the remote transmitter.

Miscellaneous Information/Hints :
a. Locate the Transmitter out of direct sunlight. Even though the unit is "weather proof' , try to keep it out of rain or snow
as much as possible. Under an eave, window sill or overhang is ideal. You can refer to the diagram at the end of these
instructions
b. If temperatures in your area drop below ·20°C/-4°F , please use Lithium batteries in the transmitter.
c. If the humidity is below 20% with high temperature, the remote humidity will display --%, and the temperature will display
normally.

IF : you lose the signal from the remote transmitter

Press and hold the ""''' button for~ seconds. This will initiate a 3 minutes search . If it is not found still , please read the
instructions below.
a. If your product has been functioning for 6 months or longer, you are likely to resolve the problem by replacing the
batteries in both the transmitter(s) and the receiver.
b. If the problem still exists, it may caused by electronic interference from another device . This is very difficult to
determine and all we can suggest is to move the receiver and transmitter to various locations. Quite often a move
of even a few feet (meters) in one direction or another will resolve the issue. It is interesting to note that RF (Radio
Frequency signals) will transmit better through a concrete wall than glass!
