Geared Machine

Machine
The machine shall be of the worm geared
traction type specifically designed for elevator
service. The phosphor-bronze worm wheel
and cast traction sheave are mounted on a
common shaft. For quietness of operation,
the electro-mechanical brake shall be operated
from a DC supply.

Motor
EH 250K The motor shall be of the squirrel cage
induction type, specifically designed for lift
motion control.

Worm Gear
The worm gear unit will be specially designed
and manufactured for elevator duty and will
be silent operation.

Brake
The Electro-mechanical brake unit will be
normally closed and will open only when the
elevator is in operation.
