Service Magazine SEPD1317, 18 August 2011, "New Water Pump Groups Are Used on Certain
Machine Engines". The previous article was updated to include other serial number prefixes, refer to
the following article.

Description of Change: The new water pump groups incorporate an improved seal in the jacket
water pump, which provides improved service life of the water pump groups.

Adaptable To: The new water pump groups are direct replacements for the existing pump groups.
The new water pumps are adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above. Refer
to Table 1 for information on which existing pump group is replaced by each of the new part
numbers.
