B. INSIGHTS (What new insights or learning did you gain from the topic?)

1. Before reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I thought that third world
countries are only regarded as the ones that are currently in the stage of developing
every aspect.
However, reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I now think/ realize that
countries in the third world can also be determined as improved ones.

2. Before reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I thought that the division of
Global North and Global South was made just to classify the countries for being in
the northern or southern part.
However, reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I now think/ realize that
such division has its purposes; to make a stand and solutions to those common
problems and to have equality all around the world.

3. Before reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I thought that the conflict
between the black and white people has nothing to do with their country’s
economic dimensions.
However, reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I now think/ realize that
racial character has always been linked to the economic differences of the Global
North and Global South people.
