Details of the Journey:


Me and my college group undertook visit at exide industries limited ahmednagar factory
ahmednagar on 17 januray 2022 under th guidance of my mama shivaji chaure factory
worker in exide industries l.m.t
we were divided in two boy groups and guided by mr shivaji chure in factory worker for
company tour and learned about production department about history and how company
was established.
it took around an hour for both to complete the visit and at the end we get chance to
discuss on companys matter with hr manager
we exchange gratitude and token of love and returned.
OBJECTIVE:
1. Understanding production mechanism and management function.
2.this visit has exposed all student with industry worikin.
3. enviroment, culture, employee satisfaction and issue of company and future plans.

facilitees two of which are int he united states and spain and portugal each have one as well the
company claims that 99 percent of lead processed through these facilities is recycled

companies act 1913 to purchase all or any of the assets of the business of maunfacurers buyers and
sellers of and dealers in and repairers of electrical and chemical appliances and good carried on by
the chloride electric storage company (india ) ltd in indai since 1916 with a view thereto th enter into
and carry into effect an agreement which had already been prepard and was expressed to be made
between the chloride elctric storage co india ltd on the one part and the company of the other part
the name of the company was changed to chloride india ltd on 2 august the name of the company
was again changed to chlorde industries ltd vide fresh
research and development
R&D work is carried out on various facets of lead acid battery technoloy which include development
of new products for applications such as automotive motorbike vrla telecom ups railways defence
etc primarily to make the product range
internationally competive in addition the R&D is engaged in projects embracing process technology
aimed at improving the product qality & consistency production efficiency and material utilization
furthermore R&D programme included improvement and indigenisation of materails such as metals
alloys plastics etc. R%D emphasis is on studying and improving the environmental aspect associate
with the maunfacuring process.

BATTERY MARKET IN INDIA


the indian battery market is a billion usd market including the two market sub segments lead acid
batteries and li ion batteries currently there is only a manufacturing of lead acid bateries in india so
far manufacturing of li ion batteres is not present auto mobile industry is the biggest demand driver
of lead acid batteries and exide batteries limited the larget domestic producer of lead acid batteries
today the mobile phone and computer industries are the mst important growth driver for li ion battery
demand the complete demand is coverd by imports indan battery market is a high markdt in the
world
so as the pace of development increases india is seen as potentially one of the fastest growing
market in the future this monolith controlle d 90% of the market at present exide is the only major
player in industrial batteries segment in indai a few emerging player

a few emering players in these segments are amara raja unionbatteries those day are gone when
end useres relied int he judgment of thd dealer or the contractor for choosing batteries for its use
after markded improvement in the raw material and processing buyers today and rest assured that
the quality of batteries avilable has undergone a dramatic change
hopefully the emerging competition will give tehem greater choice in the some lot of extra effort to

ans: We generally keep 10-20 % extra staff to tackle with
absenteeism

ans: yes, speed of works gets decreased by 40-50 % by altering staff from different section

ans: currently we are in the process of setting up brand lab
where team will be working on both the exide we have realized the impact of E-commerce
and got positive result in the promotion
5.Dose company have ever gone in to serious problem till now?
ans: NOt exactly but two years back we had strikes but it was solved soon with proper solution

6. what would like to suggest us for our industrial visit research?


ans: sorry, due to privacy concern we are bound to0 share much more information but i am sure you
can extract yourself by observation and analysis

see & know is better motto than read & learn
after completing the industrial visit we have upgraded our
knowledge at a very great level it was a good learning experence in each & every department we got
some or the other new ideas and new thinking which was very department we got some or the other
new ideas and other new thinking which was very necessary for development

we have visited the entire process department they are the best technology than any others company
of nepal

during industial visit we feel very much satisfied by acquiring information of various departments &
knowing many new things

conclusion:
we conclude that while going through the entire industrial visit the co-operation is found to be very
well organized developed & most ideal industry in every walk of its production administration &
managment aspects
