Service Training

What does RH90C mean?

R = Type of undercarriage. In this case the letter designates a crawler style undercarriage.

H = Hydraulic excavator.

90 = Was an indicator of standard bucket size (9 m³). Now the standard is 10³.

C = Type of manufacturing series.

The machine is broken down into 3 major modules.

• Undercarriage which consists of components such as, Track, Rollers, Final Drive and Travel Motors,
Track Tensioning, Swing Bearing, Idler, Carbody, Track Frames.
• Superstructure which is made up of various modules, Cab, Hydraulic Cooling, Engine and
Counterweight.
• Working Equipment, Boom, Bucket, Stick, Float and Main Control Valves and Cylinders.
