ABSTRACT

Mt. New Visayas is one area that has the natural forest and has a diverse of

biodiversity flora and fauna in Quezon Bukidnon. One of flora such as Pteridophyta

can be found in Mt. New Visayas. Pteridophyts has many beneficial to human, but

knowledge of the local community is still low associated with it. The objective of the

researched was know the species present in Mt. New Visayas. This research was

conducted on May 20, 2022. Location of this research in Mt. New Visayas Blgy 10,

Quezon Bukidnon. The research used quantitative method, and identification of

Petridophytes using a guidebook such as Plant Systematics, Flora for Schools,

Encyclopedia of Garden Ferns, and Pteridophyta. The data analysis using descriptive

qualitative. The results showed a total of 10 species of Pteridophytes was found

belonging to seven families.
